Father Cornello, Benevolent Father
6 Command Level 1
Human * Villian
2/3/1
Main Alchemy 2: Put a mob ally into play from your hand. At the end of your turn, sacrifice that card.

So we start off a Father Cornello week! Not one of my favorite leaders, but Father Cornello decks can utilize rebels and mobs very efficiently.

This leader's effect is quite good. Since rebels gain a huge advantage by swarming the field, being able to play allies outside of your recruit phase definitely helps out. Even though you lose the ally at the end of the turn, just having that extra ally could turn the tides for your side for that location. Some mob allies have an effect that needs for it to be sacrificed so you can use Father Cornello's effect just for that sole purpose.

With 6 command and some decent stats, this is definitely a great level 1 leader to use. The only downsides I can see is that you have to give up a card for equivalent trade unless you can attach something to Father Cornello to give him that extra +1 alchemy.
Also, losing that ally at the end of the turn might hurt you in the long run since you lose hand advantage, but being able to win the location might be worth it.

Rating: 4/5
Good effect, decent stats, definitely playable.

Father Cornello, Benevolent Father

Why must we go back to the crap cards? Scar and Siren are better leaders because they have better effects. for father cornello, you have to discard a card to put an ally in play, then in the end of turn, you sacrifice the ally? Unless the ally has a special ability that sacrifices, talk about wasting cards on one turn. Resist the urge to use this leader please.
