Bull's Eye:

Of the three cards we review this week, Bull's Eye is the most versatile, but also the most costly. Taking a search action to destroy an advantage can be a huge tempo loss, but it could still be worse if the advange (maybe Fight on My Terms?) is still in play. This makes Bull's Eye worth it in a lot of cases, and it destroys attachments in the search party as well.

The most interesting aspect of Bull's Eye, besides the obvious "I destroy attachments OR advantages" is the fact that it's Noble. This means Rush Valley Streets can grab it (and so can The Armstrong Estate I suppose), which makes it more searchable than Betrayal or Aflame.
However, it doesn't always have the same effect as Betrayal or Aflame, so it's really hard to say which is better. I think it really depends on the deck- decks with lower wits probably want to play Bull's Eye over Betrayal, but a leader with 5-6 wits at level 2 should probably be playing Betrayal instead.

Bull's Eye is passable in limited, but I don't remember it being especially amazing in AHP sealed. Although it did kill Mark of the Ouroboros, it didn't do much else. Still, it was a good card, so it gets a decent rating.

Darktaro

Keeping with the theme of attachment hate we are reviewing Bullseye. This is a Search Strength 4: Destroy target attachment or advantage. If you're putting this card in soley for the attachment hate I'd say you're better off running Aflame. It's ability to destroy advantages is where it really shines as there are very few cards that allow you to do so. There's nothing better than assigning to a location uncontested and then proceeding to Bullseye his strongest advantage. Even better having your opponent assign in because they have Fight on My Terms out only to have it be destroyed.

The attachment part is an added bonus, just how the strength pump for Bullseye is. It is nice that it gets around "can't be targeted" allies since it targets the attachment and not the ally. If you feel you need more advantage hate and less attachment hate then go with Bullseye over Aflame.

Constructed: 5/5-Very few cards destroy advantages.
Sealed: 3/5-May be a dead card in your hand against some sealed decks.
lonedothacker Bulls Eye 4 Strength

Noble

Search Strength 4: Destroy target attachment or advantage.

(I believe there is an errata specifying it can target at home to be able to hit advantages, however I dont remember if it also applied to attachments.)

DESTRUCTION!

So to me we hit one of the weaker killers, Bull's Eye. Overall the effect of this card is a 1 for 1 no more, no less. The bright side is it doesn't target characters so nothing I listed yesterday stops it. It can eat Cage and Bazaar off hand though, but those are minority cancels at the same time. The downside here however is its a Search action, which isn't a bad thing if its a free walk location. Its even more splashable with its low cost of a 4. Theres not a whole lot more to say, however if I'm messing up the errata and it can hit attachments at home I'd bump it .5 in the rating scale otherwise:

Constructed: 3/5 Better options, but an easy to play card(3.5 if wrong)
Sealed: 4/5 Its attachment hate(4.5 if wrong)

The “Steel Talon” Alchemist

Bull’s Eye

4 Cost

Search Strength

Destroy Target Attachment or Advantage.

This card gives you an option at the cost of an attack. It’s cheap so most characters will be able to pay for it though. I’ve never really liked search events since my play style is very direct. Yes it’s a personal reason but it’s one I really can’t get past. I do like that for the cost you get a choice of either a nasty attachment or one of those evil little advantages your opponent has out. I do use one of these for emergency use but I never really count on it so more often then not I use it for Equivalent Exchange.

Final call:

Constructed: 3/5

Got a stable ability for the cost but sacrificing an attack is just too much, gotta love the art though.

Limited: 3.75/5 it’s easier to choose this card in Limited since other options are so slim.
