Pride,
Commander in Chief:
Pride is our Quick Wits character this week, and
I think one of the best examples of a solid
quick character. Pride may, in fact, be the
strongest card we are reviewing this week. His
huge quick wits: 2 stacks with Seven Deadly Sins
for a total of Toughness: 2 and Quick
Wits: 3, making him an incredible formidable
opponent in battle.
Additionally, he can't be attacked or targetted
by military characters, making him a hugely
difficult character to deal with in Military
decks without splashes, who can't even hit him
with a Yoki or Sarcastic. Definetly playable in
most constructed decks.
Not possible to get Pride in limited, outside of
some bizarre packaging error. If you're lucky
enough to grab a Pride in this fashion, play
him, but he gets an NR for No Rating from me.
Ratings:
Constructed: 4.25/5

Today's COTD is
Pride Commander in Chief. It's a card that is
only available through the FMA Brotherhood
program. Currently there are only 2 Pride allies
and only 1 that is Homonculus. So it really
depends what faction you are running. Homonculus
decks will probably want to run Commander in
Chief. It's a level 1 recruit with 5 wits, helps
towards meeting the Seven Deadly Sins
requirement, and an effect, while situational,
can be devastating early game in winning
locations. However if you are not running the
Seven Deadly Sins advantage, Pride is a bit weak
as far as first turn recruits go. So in that
case it's probably a fit him in if you can
situation.
Constructed: 3/5-A solid card with no real huge
strengths or weaknesses. Though against Military
it is a nice assignable 3/5/0 that they can't do
anything against :)
