It's Wits event
week! Today we start with a card from Blood and
Water, Woo Hoo! At 3 Wits it's a card that every
deck can play, most of the times by turn one and
it lets you shuffle 3 cards from your discard
back into your deck. This is one of the few
discard recursions outside of Elric and used to
be part of the broken combo that would allow you
to draw your whole deck into your hand. Now that
the combo no longer works is it still a
worthwhile card?
One deck that still benefits greatly is the
Majhal Zombie Master deck. Emptying your deck
and using Marin to draw cards every turn allows
you to get specific cards back into your hand.
Other than that it still is a form of recursion
and allows you to get the strongest cards back
into your deck even if you don't draw into them
immediately. It's defintely a card that won't
make the cut most of the times due to it's lack
of consistency (may not always have the cards in
your discard). And with many players not using
their biggest cards until the last location,
recursion may not be something to be concerned
about.
Constructed: 2.5/5-It's a decent card, I feel it
is a bit unnecessary in most decks.
Sealed: 4/5-Could help you get pumps back in
your deck to draw. The lower deck size will
ensure you can draw them again. |
