JoyRide Entertainment announces 2006
convention schedule
CHARLOTTE, NC (January
20, 2006) -- JoyRide Entertainment, makers of the Fullmetal
Alchemist TCG, which InQuest Gamer called the best anime
game of 2005, today announced its convention schedule for
2006. The schedule includes some of the largest gaming and
anime shows in North America, and, just like at last year's
conventions, JoyRide will make sure that fans of the game
have plenty to look forward to!
As was the case at last year's Edward Elric, The Fullmetal
Alchemist, JoyRide will have an exclusive card to give out
to anyone who stops by the booth. This year's promo is
Alphonse Elric, Impenetrable Armor, which will sport
different card images for each of the six shows JoyRide will
be exhibiting at: GAMA Trade Show, Origins Game Fair, Anime
Expo, San Diego Comic-Con, Wizard World Chicago, and Gen Con
Indy. And, if you haven't had a chance to pick up staff
cards from the JoyRide employees, now's your chance!
There's more than just free cards to be hand, though. As
usual, you can learn to play Fullmetal Alchemist TCG at the
JoyRide booth, and once you've done that, participate in any
of the scores of tournaments JoyRide will be running, from
sealed-deck to constructed events to special events and
high-intensity Regional tournaments. Origins, Anime Expo,
San Diego Comic-Con and Wizard World Chicago will all play
host to Regional events, with the winners getting the chance
to go to the World Championships at Gen Con Indy!
JoyRide will have more information regarding its convention
plans after the release of Artificial Human, including not
one, but two different sets of promo cards that will be
available at this year's conventions! It's going to be a
great year, and JoyRide Entertainment and Fullmetal
Alchemist TCG will be at the forefront!
