Our Overall Favorite Assault Rifles Ranked:
- Siegebreaker– Fully Automatic Rifle – Fantastic all-around weapon and hits hard
- Hunter-Killer – Semi-Automatic Rifle – Another great all-around Rifle, but it’s not auto
- Super Shredder – Sniper/Shotgun hybrid – Incredible damage from near and far.
- Razorblade – Burst Rifle – Tight Bursts, Good Damage, but eats up ammo quickly
- Nocturno – Fully Automatic Rifle – A Lovely Full Automatic Weapon
- Tiger – Sniper Rifle – Engage zombies from a great distance
- Deathstalker – Burst Rifle – Hits hard at a good distance
- Vindertech Pulsar – Energy Burst Rifle – Decent firing rate and Great against Husks
- Dragon’s Roar – Semi-Automatic Rifle – Penetrates enemies & sets them on fire
- Typewriter – SMG Rifle – Good Magazine Size and Good Damage
- Hydra – Hydraulic Rifle – Hybrid Rifle/Shotgun – Great damage, but slow firing rate
- Rat King – Semi Automatic Slug Gun – Similar to the Hydra
- Silenced Specter – SMG Rifle – Great Crit Chance and Crit Damage
- Buzzcut – Semi-Automatic Rifle – Needs great aim for headshot damage
- Founder’s Drumroll – LMG Rifle – High Damage, Large Magazine Size, Inaccurate
- HackSAW – LMG Rifle – Hits pretty well for an LMG
- Bobcat – SMG Rifle – Great Crit Chance and Crit Damage
- Grave Digger – Fully Automatic Rifle – Good Firing Rate and Large Magazine size
- Lynx – Burst Rifle – Slow Burst Weapon, Good Accuracy and Damage
- Wraith – Fully Automatic Rifle – Better in Controlled Burst, and need Headshots.
- Mercury – LMG Rifle – Neon A.R. with Good Firing Rate and Magazine Size, Inaccurate
- Hammercrush – Single Shot Rifle – Fires Slugs with High Damage, Slow
- One Shot – Bolt-Action – Powerful, Shots Penetrate, Heavy Ammo, Slow
- Nailer – Hydraulic Nail Gun – Slow firing, but Great Impact & Good Magazine size
Best Fully Automatic Assault Rifles:
Many players prefer Fully Automatic Rifles. These are easy guns to use. You just point and hold down the trigger, firing pretty straight until your target zombie falls. The Siegebreaker and Nocturno use Light Bullets. The Grave Digger uses Medium Bullets.
- Siegebreaker– Fantastic all-around weapon and hits hard
- Nocturno – A Lovely Fully Automatic Weapon
- Grave Digger – Good Firing Rate and Large Magazine size
- Wraith – Like a Nocturno with a Suppressor – Better up close than from range. Shadowshard it. Any increases to Fire Rate really causes a lot of bloom.
Best Semi-Automatic Rifles:
Semi-Automatic Rifles will fire shots as fast as you can click the trigger. Great for headshot damage on all husks/zombies. Many players prefer Fully Automatic Rifles, but great players are deadly with these Semi’s! Each shot really packs a punch.
- Hunter-Killer – Semi-Automatic Rifle – A great all-around Rifle
- Dragon’s Roar – Semi-Automatic Rifle – Penetrates enemies & sets them on fire
- Buzzcut – Semi-Automatic Rifle – Needs great aim for headshot damage
Best Burst Rifles:
Burst Rifles will fire 3 quick bullet bursts each time you pull the trigger. Burst Weapons usually do great headshot damage to zombies. You still need to be precise with your aim with these. These guns all use Medium Bullets.
- Razorblade – Burst Rifle – Tight Bursts, Good Damage, but eats up ammo quickly
- Deathstalker – Burst Rifle – Hits hard at a good distance
- Lynx – Burst Rifle – Slow Burst Weapon, Good Accuracy and Damage
Best Sniper Rifles:
The Super Shredder uses Shell’s n Slugs. The Tiger uses Medium Bullets.
- Super Shredder – Sniper/Shotgun hybrid – Incredible damage from near and far.
- Tiger – Sniper Rifle – Engage zombies from a great distance, but difficult to use at close range.
Best Light Machine Guns:
LMG’s are not that accurate, but can be fun guns. They are Fully Automatic and they spray bullets everywhere with a high rate of fire. Range is poor. The Drumroll and HackSAW use Medium Bullets. The Mercury uses Energy Cells.
- Founder’s Drumroll – LMG Rifle – High Damage, Large Magazine Size, Inaccurate
- HackSAW – LMG Rifle – Hits pretty well for an LMG with a good bloom pattern
- Mercury – LMG Rifle – Neon A.R. with Good Firing Rate and Magazine Size, Inaccurate
Best Submachine Guns:
SMG’s are fully automatic guns. They are great for up-close mob clear, but reload times are very slow. Their range is poor too.
- Typewriter – SMG Rifle – Good Magazine Size and Good Damage – Medium Bullets
- Silenced Specter – SMG Rifle – Great Crit Chance and Crit Damage. It has a very wide bloom pattern from far away – Light Bullets
- Bobcat – SMG Rifle – Great Crit Chance and Crit Damage – Light Bullets
