There’s an interesting tension in Glacierwood Siege, where the two modes would combine very well together but you have to choose only one. At least, one for each copy you cast – it’s a notable disadvantage in formats like Commander, but less so in formats like Standard. If your deck relies on getting two into play, that might end up being a little slow and fragile for a lot of formats, though I could still see a niche combo or synergy deck that wanted to do so. Most of the time you’ll be using it to get some sort of extra value from your cards, and the Temur side will often be the easier one to use for that. I don’t mean that as a knock against the card, by the way – modal spells are more often good than not, and there will be ways to use this one in both existing and new decks.

As a side note, it’s interesting that they brought back Sieges in the style of the Tarkir block, and weren’t concerned about confusion with the subtype of the battle cards they’ve released to date.
The sieges make a return for Tarkir Dragonstorm, this time with a multicolor flavor. Much like how the original cycle had you choose between two effects, the same is true here, though the hitch is that the sieges each go with two of the wedges, so that you can get mileage in two color pairings. Glacierwood Siege isn’t the flashiest, but it’s certainly not terrible; milling as a rider can definitely be nice for either setting up your plays or setting up a mill kill, and Crucible of Worlds’ effect rarely goes out of style. Neither is the most impactful, but both are great at generating mountains of value over a drawn-out game, and I definitely can see this one showing up in Standard and maybe a coupledeeper formats.
