Hey, Pojo fanatics. ;-) I'm back again with another review. I try to
evaluate cards many people overlook, so you probably won't see me write about 4
Privet Drive in the future. Anyway, today I'll be reviewing an Item card,
Remembrall.
Remembrall
Item 8T
During your turn, you may use an Action to put a Lesson card from your
discard pile into play.
This is a Common card, so it's relatively easy to get. Don't let the rarity
fool you, however. This card has a mean effect. Many times, we find ourselves
with no cards to play during a turn. Thus, we must draw an extra card or two to
use up our Actions. With a Remembrall in play, you won't have to do that as
much. Lesson retrieval is a valuable ability, and being able to put a discarded
Lesson into play as an Action is a far better option than drawing an extra card.
The only drawback to playing this card is the high cost.
Hermione decks may find use for this card, as Lesson development is this
deck's main focus. With Remembrall, you may find that you're able to take a few
Lessons out of your deck, since you can reuse the ones you lose. With Lesson
distruption a popular tactic in this game, players should think about playing
Remembrall.
My Rating: 4 of 5
Use It?: Yes, play it if you are playing a deck that focuses on getting the
most out of your Lessons. If you can pay the cost, this is a card to
consider.
