I'm Quagsir
and I am going to give the world a piece of my mind about my most-hated card, Neville
Longbottom.
Reducing
your opponent's damage to 8 doesn't seem too bad; it basically gives them 8+
turns to live. But coupled with healing, Neville decks are unbeatable.
And I'm not
kidding. I played against a Neville deck. It had approx. 20 healing cards and
15 damage cards and 25 lessons. The healing cards healed an average of 10.
Think about it. 33.3% of the time they will buy one, possibly two turns to
live. And by cycling their lessons and damage, they will win even by using a
Mav. Mixture every 4 turns.
Sure, there
are ways to beat them, namely Stoat Sandwiches, and Thru the Arch. But any
Nevilledeck player will solve them in 2 or less turns. After all, one Elixir of
Life will bring them back to life.
Neville
decks cannot be stalled, as their healing will even stall the staller!!! (What
a mouthful!) Low and fast decks will never measure up. Item decks will not be
able to use EyeBall combos. Quid decks won't even be able to use their
power-stringing. Only a specialized deck can beat them, and I am seeking that
deck. If anyone there at Pojo's can formulate one, it'll be greatly
appreciated!!!
Neville, I
fart in your general direction.
