If you are contemplating using this card, then it's time to wake up. Ten
lessons is a huge cost, and for that kind of expense, you should expect
a top-dollar result. Getting to redo a character's one-use ability just is
not that great. Surveying all of the characters, there are only a few who
I would even consider as a target (Pomfrey, Quirrell, and perhaps
Griphook). I've had a lot of experience with character decks, and in
my opinion you are better off putting more copies of each character in
your deck and finding some way to remove them so that they can be replayed,
versus using a spell such as this. The reality is that one of the advantages
to playing characters is their zero lesson cost, which you are now negating
by forcing yourself to ramp up to ten lessons to cast this spell.

With Madam Pomfrey in Phil. Stone decks, this card is sweet. Odds are you
will be up by that lesson count quickly. Also, this lesson level is the same
as Potions Exam, Bulgeye Potion and Transfiguration Exam...interesting :)

Yawn~ Man I did have a good night's sleep before I attempted this CoTD. I'd
bet you all your Once Per Game Characters would benefit. Some which in my
humble opinion are Professor Severus Snape, Madam Pomfey, Oliver Wood (maybe
not), Griphook etc. But this card doesn't come cheap. Only high lesson
reaching decks like the PCD/Obliviate deck will reach that count. Other than
that the character decks might not even reach that high of a count. So
bottom line.
Pros: Helps reuse the Once per game ability.
Cons: Too expensive for conventional fast decks.

This card is expensive but can prove useful, especially if the character has a
wicked power like Griphook. Some might find an easier strategy of discarding their
characters and replaying them with Ron Weasley, but when that type of design doesn't
work for you, then this card might come in useful. However the problems lies in the
number of characters you have in your deck, because if its limited, it might cause you
to be stuck with this card in your hand. However, I feel that this card has enough
usefulness that it could definitely come in handy in certain deck designs.

Since we last reviewed GNS in April, two newer sets have came, and with them some cards
that could possibly improve the usefulness of GNS. =) Good Night's Sleep is still great with:
Snape, Quirrel, McGonagall, Abbott, Griphook, Flint, and Wood. About three new "once per game"
cards have came out since then. Peeves is similar to Griphook, and decks that use him might fancy
the idea of pulling off their special combo twice or more in one game. =) Fat Friar has a one time
ability to, but not as great as others. I probably would not use GNS on the Friar unless I was really
despirate. Now, Madam Pomfrey on the other hand, almost makes GNS worth playing. Sure 10 power potion
cards would heal 16, but with Pomfrey, you get 12 healed free, then 12 more when you use GNS. Is 24 bigger
than 16? I think it is. =)

Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature
was stirring, not even a mouse. That's because they are getting a, Good
Night's Sleep! This card has great potential, but it has seen very little
play time. The reason being is the high casting cost. It would seem that
there are better alternatives at the 10 cost level. I have built decks around
this card in conjunction with Griphook, Hannah Abbott, and McGonagall as the
starter. The decks did ok. But, put this combo in a deck built around a different
strategy using the "Sleeper" card when it presents itself and you can kick some
major butt. Try this, Griphook and Hannah in play: do Griphook, the Good Nights
Sleep, then use Hannah's ability to get GNS and play it again. You just Griphooked
three times in one turn! Bet that hurt.
