With its low casting cost, you can get this out very early. However,
since it makes you lose a lesson when played, it's going to hurt your
development initially. Obviously, if it's been out for a while, you will
draw into lessons to replace the one you lost. Unfortunately, this owl
does not give you extra actions so that you can play those extra card
draws. Also, it does not give you a choice on the draw. You must do
so, and thus run the risk of hastening your demise via your own card
drawing. As a final indignity, with only a health of one, this card is
very easy for most decks to remove. Having it get knocked out of
sky the turn after it is played is very painful indeed. If you want extra
draws associated with a creature, I always suggest the Unicorn,
instead. It has a higher health, and the actions you gain from it can
be devoted to playing cards, if you do not wish to draw more.

You can't kill it off whenever you want, so you're killing yourself...It
also costs you a CoMC lesson. =/ Photo Album is MUCH better. With 1 Health,
even STREELER kills it. There are better cards that don't kill you, the only
upside I can see is it's an Owl.

Mmm the mail man is here oops its the mail owl. I do not fancy this owl for
any reason at all. I mean drawing an extra card each turn is useful but this
card get be get rid of in many ways. And let me remind you that you might
end up drawing your to your death. And add to the fact that its rare and you
HAVE to discard a CMC lesson to play this card. This card isn't and good
investment in your decks.
Pros: Drawing an additional 1 card a turn.
Cons: Lots, too many to list.

This card is definitely comparable to Photo Album, in that it increases the
drawing power at the beginning of your turn. However this card is much easier
to discard since its a creature. However besides that, it still contains the
same risks and benefits that come with Photo Album, where as, sometimes it helps,
sometimes it hurts, but over all you will have cards to choose from, which can
come in handy.

Back in the day when we didn't ever consider losing by running out of cards, drawing
was a good thing, which is probably why this lil bird was printed as a Rare. The ability
fits its name well. It'll never miss a delivery unless your opponent snipes it, or you
do. Most decks that ran this guy usually ran Toe Biter as well to stop getting cards.
I think most people now a days would prefur Photo Album because it's not a rare that
you have to worry about damaging it's condition. ;')

This card rocks! Wow, you get an extra draw each and every turn. Awesome!
Ok, that sounds great, but is it really? No! I have played with this card in
my "minus one" deck. I made a deck that had all of the COMC cards that required
a discard of a COMC lesson. It was a fun deck. Every time I got this card out
it was good for about three turns and then it was a real pain. I started to deck
myself. I have used it lately with the Family Ghoul but it is still a marginal
card. It would really rock if the card gave you the option to draw an additional
card. Refuse the delivery!
