This used to be a key search card in my character decks. However, the
latest set gave us access to Entrancing Enchantments, a spell that only
costs one more, but fetches any character, not just wizards or witches.
Later in the game, a more general search card, such as Gringott's Vault
Key, is superior to this. If all of the important characters in your deck
can be fetched by this card, and there is a need to get them into play
early in the game, then this card should be your first choice. Since the
use of search cards thin your deck and use up valuable actions, they
are only appropriate when the card being fetched has a high value. That
implies combo decks, where the cards being sought are crucial to getting
a win or shutting down your opponent in some way.

In Ron Weasley decks, this card is good...but most Ron decks don't use
lessons nowadays. It's a good card, but it depletes your deck and can be
risky late in the game. Not that good, but it is good in certain decks.

Yummy chocolate... Ah yes the chocolate frogs. For just 1 Charms lesson you
can search your deck for a wizard/witch card. Well isnt that good? you can
fish out lots of neat witches/wizards like Madam Pomfey. Ain't it nice. Well
we think so but this card is very limited. Only decks which play
witches/wizards will be able to make use of this card. And Notice : It says
Wizard/Witch not Characters like Griphook etc.
Pros: 1 Charms to search for a Wizard/Witch card.
Cons: Only wizard/witch cards.

Well lets see here, this card is cheap, and it helps with getting characters
out. If you find it important to get some of your characters out then this is
like a quick gringotts vault key to aid you. However if you find that you need
to be pulling other cards as well, then the vault key might be a more multi purpose
card. This card isn't as bad as it used to be since there are more characters of
use, but it still isn't anything to write home about. Experiment and let us know,
how it works out for you.

If your deck depends on a non-starting Wizard/Witch, then this seems like a good
way to go. Otherwise you could probably find a broader search card as your power
level increases. =)

This card could have been better if it let you get any character. I sooo wanted
it to get my Griphook. It is still useful to get Hannah, Prof. Quirrell and a
Weasley or two. The only problem is that you have to wait a turn to play them
since they cost 2 actions to play. I like playing with Charms Exam and have used
this card to POP Quiz away what someone just Frogged in. The look on their face
was "Priceless". If you have a card that lets you play Characters for one action,
then this option can rock. Go get'um for one action; play'um for the second action
and then use their ability. If you had money out at the start of the turn or you
play 9 ¾'s the second action you can really do some harm. If you see Aarvark99's
Hannah deck a lot, put this card in your deck and get Hannah out before they do!
"Priceless"!
