I expect lots of players to rush to
put this in a deck as soon as they get one. Bad players, that is.
Good players will look at this and place it right in their trade
binder, where it will reside for all of eternity (unless they are
lucky enough to swap it to some unsuspecting rookie for a more useful
card). Yes, the effect is huge, but so is the cost. Without acceleration,
it would take around 30 turns to get this out, and it doesn't even
win you the game. Sure, it might get you the win, if you were also
holding a Manegro Potion, but that's one combo that should look
far better on paper that it works in actual practice. This card
is so needful of learning that it almost requires Wand Shop backed
up by Wands. I'd rather use those means to get to cards with a little
more offense than this. In theory, this card coupled with Ollivanders
and Vault Keys could let you keep drawing forever. But that fantasy
is an illusion. A less idealistic view should immediately note that
if you want to drop this and play it on the same turn, then you
need to scrounge up another action while you are also working on
your learning development. A deck that tries to do too many things
at once tends to do all of them poorly. Many people wonder if the
Stone's effect of getting all of your lessons into play is a benefit
or a detriment. On the upside is the fact that you will only be
drawing impact cards from then on. On the downside is Dumbledore's
watch and the realization that with probably less than 40 cards
in your library, you could still be knocked out in one turn by a
creature horde and two Steelclaws. Some will be tempted to put this
card into their Potion Class Disaster decks. My advice would be
to resist this temptation.

This card is the center of some decks,
as Dragonstar975 has shown me. Combine this with Olivanders and
cards like Wand Shop, Phoenix Feather Wand and Hermione, and you
have one very annoying deck. Stall decks love this card. The only
bad thing about it is the 15T cost. It's so powerful, WoTC restricted
it to one per deck! Hopefully, this is the only way this TCG becomes
like Pokemon...*cough*Sneasel*cough*

I admit to not being a big hype fan.
This card will get lots of hype for sure. It does wager to say that
if people are trying to put this into play, they will be playing
Charms and most likely Wand Shop and Ollivanders. They key to really
making things work here is the Mirror of Erised. And while you are
at it, you might think of shooting for a Galleon or two. The Stone
is pretty amazing indeed, but to get it and at the right time, you
will need some help. I hate decks that are solely based on one card,
but if you really expect to be using the stone, you are going to
have a pretty predictable deck. For the most part, your opponent
will know over half of your deck the first time one of these gets
discarded, and will be playing against it the whole time. So unless
you just have one in there just for fun, be prepared and make sure
the other half of your deck can run on it's own.

Ahh behold the power of stone. This
card can really save your butt, and since everyone using this card
is going to be using ollivanders as well, so that they can retrieve,
well there are definitely more then once chance to be using this
card. Now this card can really put the hurting on your opponent,
you heal everything but healing cards, but buyer beware, you spend
your whole time trying to get this card out, your opponent might
finish you off before you get a chance. And at 15 power, you best
be playing with some fast lesson acceleration. I don't want to deny
this cards power, just don't let it be your whole strategy, let
it be part of your strategy.

mmmm, jello... what? This don't taste
like jello.. :0
This card is great in high-powered fast decks, especially those
of the Charms/Trans nature. Wand Shop helps this out faster, Ovilanders
helps this back to you to play again. Since you can only have one
in your deck, Vault Key or Mirror help you find it. When you get
it, it can be scary for your opponent. Dumbledore's Watch is the
only thing I can think of right now that can hurt it badly.
