This is the big brother to Sandstone
Gargoyle. While that card is a potential nuisance, this one is a
freaking nightmare. Under inferior conditions, it still has the
same power for casting cost as Cobra Lilly and Quintaped. It's only
slightly less durable, but that minor sacrifice is more than offset
by the added chance of getting in 3 more damage a turn. This card
is a no-brainer inclusion into almost any McGonagall-led creature
decks. Such decks always run Steelclaws, which can combine nicely
with this card. This is one statue that your opponent is not going
to want to have fall on them.

2 damage a turn with the possibility
of 5...:D With Hagrid...this card is just like a boulder going through
your opponent! (For many reasons...) The 3 health protects it against
Fumos/Doxy/Toe Biter, but most other creature damage spells kill
it...

Here we have another 2 damage, 5 power
creature unleashed with some punch. This Gargoyle Breed is really
going to be a temptation as a big creature alternative. A possible
hit of 5 damage a turn can be scary to those non-creature players
out there. Although this will not be as strong against other creature
decks as a Quintaped with 5 health, it will probably become the
choice creature to add. So once again all you spell deck players
beware!

If you liked the Sandstone Gargoyle,
then you're going to love the Marble Gargoyle, he does 2 damage,
and if your opponent doesn't have any creatures out he does 5 damage,
where can you get that hitting power for only 5 power. Not very
many places. The trick will be keeping your opponents creatures
off the board so that he can do your thing. But i have notice that
getting out a Marble Gargoyle and a River Troll, can spell a fast
fast doom for your opponent, add a steelclaw or two and its nights
out. Good luck thinking of combos for this baby.

Another marbelous creature that you
don't wana take for granite. This guy is just as solid as his Sandstone
brother. You could play this fella turn 3 and be doing 5 damage
a turn. Still, you'll want this in some sort of creature removal
deck so you can be sure your Gargoyles can use their ability. Five
damage for 5 power is better than most creatures in it's range.
River Troll does 4 damage, but loses you a lesson. And even when
you don't get the bonus, it still does as much damage as Quintaped
& Cobra Lily. Use with Fobbiden Forest and you won't have to wait
for its ability to activate just to get RHagrid's bonus.

Marble Gargoyle has a nice bang for
the buck. At five power, i might opt for Cunning Fox or Quintaped,
but if you are going for a low powered creatures deck, throw this
guy on in there. As with Sandstone Gargoyle, if you work on limiting
your opponent's creatures, he might just get to strut his stuff
and do five damage a turn. I've got a deck with nuttin but the gargoyles
and denial and it does pretty darn well! If you are going for the
curve idea of some early creatures and some bigger creatures, i
think Quintaped is king of the five power slot, but Marble Gargoyle
is not to be underestimated.
