You know, I love to get extra actions.
But the nine lesson requirement of this card makes me wince in pain.
Mind you, that's not a problematical level to achieve if you are
running a blue and yellow deck. Please note that this card is unique,
which also suggests charms, as Gringott's Vault Key can go fetch
this when you're ready. Quality Quidditch Supplies can also search
out this card, so you do have other options. I can't help but wonder
if this card is going to arrive on the scene a little too late to
have a significant impact in most cases. You'll definitely want
to check it out in playtesting with all heavy quidditch decks with
high casting cost cards in them, however.

The Cup combined with Loop-the-Loops
looks like a winning combo to me. The only thing is 9 power. Well,
speed isn't everything I guess. The key to quidditch is not to get
greedy. Quid decks (really) only compete with creature decks when
the strike hard and fast. SO they tempt us with this higher power
cards to make us fail through greed. So plan your deck wisely. If
you can run the fast build up of lessons, this card is totally worth
it!

Oliver Wood is a fanatic when it comes
to winning the Quidditch Cup, but the rewards of getting in play
can be huge. Its an Unique Item, so you can only have on in play,
and your Quidditch Pitch won't let you get it out fast, but this
card works great with Loop-the-Loops. In essence you could be playing
three quidditch spells a turn, maybe a Loop-the-Loops, to refresh
your hand, a Fouled!, to give them one action, a Cobbing to hurt
them most. You just did 12 damage, drew 4 cards for your next turn,
gave them one action, and made them discard a card from play. That
seems like a great turn to me, and the next turn it gets better.
Maybe you'll play a Three Month Long Match, a Catch the Snitch,
and an Ouch!, there's 20 damage right there, thats 1/3 of their
deck. You know that your other combos will work well too. Either
way you think about this card might be costly, but the benefits
of playing it, are huge!

9 is alot for Quidditch, but this
card is so worth it! Of course, if you are going mainstream and
playing Quid/Charms, we got the money cards to help out with actions.
This might come into play a little late in the game to make a serious
difference. Unless you get up to 9 darned fast! and and you can't
shortcut on items, but oh i wish you could. I could definitely see
this going into a high end deck with Golden Snitch or along with
Out of Control and Mid-air Collision. I can see a lot of uses for
this card, but i have yet to play around with it.
