The owl Hedwig is one of my favorite
creatures. But I rely on him for his ability to take a card from
my discard pile, not for his damage dealing capability. In fact,
I find that creatures with a power of one are generally not worth
playing, as they don't hurt your opponent fast enough. Although
the Emporium doubles the power of owls, a two power creature is
nothing to write home about. Using this card will surely sway you
to including as many crappy owls in your deck as you can. That makes
for a nice theme, but a low win ratio. You would be better off to
leave this out and use more menacing creatures to apply the "stick"
to your opponent.

This card goes into all owl decks.
Its part of one of the coolest combos in the game, Owls+Eeyloops+Into
the Forbidden Forest+Hagrid. If you can pull this off, your little
owls are doing 5 damage a turn! But, its pretty hard to do...Owl
decks are usually incorporated with people like Ron Weasley, Fred
and George or Draco Malfoy(Base set) starting. And, let me tell
you, these decks are very annoying!

There is a combo that this card has
that I do like. It is tough to get too and easy to destroy, but
it is really fun once it is completed. If you have owls out and
you can get this out. You next 2 plays would slaughter an opponent
if you could play Forbidden Forrest and Hagrid. I know this is a
tough set up. I said it was fun not easy, but it will make those
owls do 5 damage each. Which means 5 owls equals 25 damage a turn.
It is silly to think you can do this, but it really does work out
that way. Outside of that fun combo, stick with other creatures
(that combo works with 2 damage creatures without Emporium by the
way). If you are using owls for their abilities, and do not have
another location that helps your deck, you should carry a couple
just to knock out your opponent's locations.

I am inclined to believe that Eeylops
Owl Emporium is a pretty good Location. You can play Eeylops, and
now all your owls are like Boa Constrictors for one less power,
AND then get bring you a creature, item, or lesson, well isn't that
just a bonus. Owls are often underused, and they can definitely
with the right strategy really help. However, a case could be made
for bigger creatures, and then the owls wouldn't be included in
your deck. I honestly feel that this card has its place in some
decks, but is pretty useless in others.

My owls are big and beefy cuz i keep
them neat and clean. My owls are very hungry... you know what i
mean. I feed them seven times a day and yet on and on they prey.
So, give a hoot and don't pollute, cuz Woodsy is on his way!
This card is just plain old simple down to hearth no nonsense about
it FUN! The big bad combo is Eyelops, Into the Forbidden Forest,
and Hagrid... which makes each owl do.... 5 damage.... wheeeeee....
yes folx, this is a 3 card combo not mentioning the owls and yes
folx, two of these cards cost you 2 actions to put out.... but so
what! don't leave that Eyelops in your binders gathering dust! Go
and make an eyelops deck today! cuz it's one.... two.... CRUNCH!!!!
*snuffy pats his belly* yummmmmm..... Opponent on a stick!

Were lucky this card came with a couple
of new Owls because Delivery Owl wouldn't have made the trick, LOL!
The card is very good, steady and it's very easy to build a deck
around it! A lot of Owl decks popped out as soon as Diagon Alley
and it shows how easy and effective this card is. A pure Owl deck
with Eeylops, Into The Forbidden Forest and Rubeus Hagrid gets a
nice 5/2 creature deck, that doesn't require much lessons, working
perfectly.
