The thing I like best about this card is the picture on it. It's quite a pretty
card for a non-holo. Does that sound like a ringing endorsement? No?
This is probably because it's useless against creatures and the damage
causing spell I fear the most - Steelclaws. It doesn't stop spells that do
something other than damage (healing). It doesn't stop the non-damage
side effects of damage causing spells, like the discard effect associated
with Ouch. And you have to guess which spell to use this against, as it
only works once. I would consider it in an item heavy deck run by the
new Draco. But not in much else.

This is an ok item, but, your opponent will probably Diffindo/PoN/Lost Notes
it before they play something like Malevolent Mixture. And, since it only
blocks Spell cards, you're left wide open to Moonseed, Bulgeye and
creatures. If your opponent is not running Trans, they'll probably try to
throw a decoy before using there heavy spell...and odds are, you'll
fall for it.

These can be nice filler for any Potions deck and at 5 power they are quick
to use. It is a whole lot easier to get these out than one Invisibility
Cloak. Although Pet Toad and Trevor look pretty good from where I sit, this
is Potions answer to those. If you worry about spell damage, use them, if
not, go offence!

Potions Ingredients is actually viable with the new Draco. It has the benefit of being
and Item, and can prevent damage done to you by a spell card. If you get four out on
the table, you can pretty much prevent any spell damage during your opponent turn (unless
of course, they use Quirills and then damage you.) It's rare so probably hard find
in real life, but if you do find one, I don't see harm in playing it. :)

she said she needed.... something... but wasnt sure what, she was real
desperate, and green... that was weird, but there was something about her...
something about the way she held that leaf in her hand that i knew meant
trouble... im not one to shy away from trouble, far from it... trouble and
me have what you might call an ongoing relationship... and when im in
trouble, i always go for the big guns, so i blasted her as hard as i could,
but nothing happened... she just looked at me and laughed and dropped that
odd leaf of hers... i couldn't for the life of me figure out what she was up
to... then it was her turn.... and i just knew i was a dead man... my lesson
here folx... never trust a dame... not if shes green anyway... and
carryin a leaf

For 5 lessons, and you have to discard this card to prevent Spell
card damage is of NO USE! especially in the current environment with table
trouble, picking on neville, Smash, Bludger in the stands, lost notes....
(the list seems endless right) and its a RARE! hello <-- this is not
worth playing.
