Wow! It's a half price Diffindo!!!
It gets rid of almost any card in the game for a paltry four lessons
in play. Yes, your opponent could choose to sacrifice two of their
other cards in play instead. But that means you're using 2 actions
(draw/play this card) to their four (draw/play two cards). They
won't be able to do that very often. A favorite ploy of mine is
to cast this as my first action on a critical card while still holding
a Diffindo, to try to trick them into losing 3 cards in one turn.
Like with Cobbing (reviewed Monday), this card does have a chance
of backfiring in the same fashion. However, I urge everyone to give
this card a chance. You won't be disappointed.

This card is amazing. Mini-Diffindo!
The only downside is if you're using it on something like Hebridean
Black Dragon and they take the Discard two other cards way out.
Thats the only downside of the card. At the beginning of the game,
if you use it on something like Borrowed Wand, and for some unknown
reason, they opt to take the discard two route, you could just Lost
Notes or Picking on Neville it again. :D I would say use this instead
of Diffindo, since it only requires 4T.

Draco Malfoy is heard down the corridor,
"Naa, Naa Naa, Naaaaa Naa!"
"That's enough Malfoy!"
And the amazing bouncing ferret is once again on its way down
the hall with Crabbe and Goyle chasing after it. MadEye looks
at Neville, "Come on, boy."
"Look at it like your friend
Ron said. You are going to have to stand up for yourself. You
need to say that there will be no more
PICKING ON NEVILLE!
Remember you need CONSTANT VIGILANCE!"
So at this, Madeye hands him an older,
torn-up copy of Curses and Counter-curses (Bewitch Your Friends
and Befuddle Your Enemies with the Latest Revenges Volume 1.
And what does Neville decide to do? He finds this ever forgotten,
perfect spell. It has an anti-disarming spell mixed in with it.
Not only does he get to tell you what card to remove from play,
but if you try to disarm the spell, you will have to lose 2 other
cards in play instead. Either way, Neville is now standing up
for himself and you will be thinking twice before Picking on Neville.
This spell is so strong, almost everyone
is finding room for it in their decks. If you like the denial
cards at all, this has got to be one of your favorites! It is
nice to remove a card or 2 cards from their table and then follow
it with Diffindo or Lost Notes. Two hits like that and they will
be taking at least one whole turn to catch back up and that is
only if they are holding the replacement cards in their hand.

When I saw this card for the first
time, I was like WOW, only 4 power are you kidding me thats
it. There is nothing better then playing Picking on Neville on that
card your opponent just has to keep out and then playing another
denial card and getting rid of it. Your opponent has just played
that Hebridean dragon and they burned a lesson to play it. So you
play Picking on Neville, they're desperate to keep that dragon out
so they burn two lessons. Now they're down to 5 power left on the
table, you follow that up by playing Diffindo, Incarcifors, or Lapifors
and your opponent is in a serious world of hurt. There is nothing
more frustrating to someone then discarding the card they just played
especially when its a bigger powered card that were probably working
towards getting out. Picking on Neville by itself is still a powerful
card, you get to pick a card to get rid of or they get rid of two
other cards, but picking on Neville followed by another picking
on Neville or another denial card is just down right nasty. And
nastiness and intimidation can be a very frustrating tool and can
easily break your opponent, just like that time in Year with
the Yeti. But thats another story.

Dear Harry,
It is strange who you will run into when you are trying not to run
into anyone. I recently met your friend Neville Longbottom at a
used car lot of all places. Apparently he doesn't only get picked
on at school. I happened to have some treats in my backpack and
we sat down and had a long talk. Apparently, he was just out walking
because his grandparents were not being kind and on the way here,
some angry mutt chased him almost a mile. And too bad for him, while
he was running, he dropped his address, wand, remembrall, pet toad,
cauldron, and a book or too! It seems like everyone is Picking on
Neville these days, so keep your eye out, ok? Hope Hedwig enjoys
her treats and I hope you are well.
