This bludger is twice as costly to play as the original, but doesn't require a match in play
to deal its damage to your opponent. Given that both bludgers deal three damage, the
initial version is obviously superior in any deck that contains a fair number of matches.
However, if those cards aren't in your deck design, then this becomes the only available
choice for Quidditch-based item damage. This combos well with Arthur Weasley, and
provides you with a win method if your spell deck is faced with a card that shuts down
spell casting. The damage/casting cost ratio is slightly anemic, unless Nimbus 2000 is
out, but overall I feel this is a very decent card.

This is my new favorite item. A creature/item for something besides
COMC is an awesome thing indeed. My favorite way to use it is to combo
it up with Nimbus 2000 and Arthur Weasley for a minimum of 13 damage a
turn. That right there competes with most creature decks for damage and
is very easy to get on your fourth turn. This card is quite good in
item decks and pecks away in any deck running Quidditch. Play this card.

Whoa Duck! Sitting in Class, Duck! Eating Lunch, Duck! Thats right, this Bludger
is constantly on the loose and there doesn't have to be a match in play! So what
you say my fearless friend, well here's your so what? Combine this with either
of the Nimbus brooms and look out. This card is in all essence a quasi-creature,
except it doesn't have any of the creatures limitations in that, it can't be killed
by creature killing spells, only denials cards can get it. I don't think that
the potential of this card has been fully realized and once again, this adds to
the punch of a quid charms deck, without a doubt. Duck!

Matches give your opponent the opportunity to win the match and let him get the
reward, or even worse, you get the penalty. That's the world of the old Bludger.
Welcome to the world where Rogue Bludgers roam freely, and don't depend on matches.
It is definatly double the cost, but the damage it does is unconditional. It's as if
it was a creature with infinate health, so it would only be able to be killed by item
removal spells.

I dig this card. It is pretty expensive, but it is the first item that does
damage every turn. Plus now we have Arthur Weasley stepping in to give
items another wallop. If you combine these with regular bludgers and some
matches, you should be in pretty good shape. If you have two of each out,
that's 12 damage on a match. And with Nimbus 2000, that's 20 damage lol.
Suddenly that Three Month Long Match just got a lot shorter! Definitely not
for every Quidditch Deck, but since item removal is less common than
creature removal, these are a better bet for constant damage. The obvious
choice here seems to be item decks. Arthur Weasley and Draco, Slytherin
would fit in well with these bludgers. Or any deck that is Match heavy.
Angelina Johnson can speed up your deck so that you get to 8 a lot quicker
if you keep playing matches. She could be killer with these! It's just too
bad we don't have a steelclaw for bludgers lol.
