Card drawing is good. Replacing one card with seven is very
good. It's just too bad that you have to empty your hand before
you can achieve such a high value for playing this card. This is
a decent card, although I still prefer Photo Album as the card
drawer of choice in Charms decks. Of course, if you're trying
to use a fast-playing design that lacks any items, then you'll find
this to be an adequate substitute in most cases. If your deck
typically has lots of cards in hand after about 8 or 9 turns, then
you should probably avoid this.

Not at all a bad card. Good for a quick recharge in a Charms/Quid deck
which tends to lay it’s cards hard and fast. It is also a good combo
with Crabbe & Goyle or Spiral Dive. On the other hand if you are
getting lesson screwed or the denial is heavy there isn’t much point to this
card so I would recommend never playing more than two or three of these.

Alright I'm going to make this short and sweet. There are tons of cards the
help you draw cards to help you refresh your hand. Usually these cards also
let you do damage at the same time, and if they are only drawing cards they
are usually much cheaper then seven power. I don't know why you would want
to include this card unless you're going for a food flavored deck. Speaking
of food, I'm so hungry, I wonder what those elves cooked up today!

Great card for speed decks that play the cards in their hand quickly. A
fast creature deck could be ideal. The less cards you've got in your hand,
the more you get back. =) Overall nice card drawing engine.

This card could prove very useful in a deck that needs options. Say for
instance you are running a heavy hand denial deck. Hand Denial works well
at first, but then sort of peters out. This way, when your hand starts to
peter out, you can play this card to refresh your hand and keep the denial
coming. Any deck that empties its hand fast will find this card useful if
you get up to 7 relatively quick. My main problem with this card is that
often times you end up with extra lessons in your hand. Often times I end
up with 3-4 lessons in my hand by middle game... Even though, you would
still be drawing 3-4 cards which could give you the boost you need. I doubt
you will see this card in a lot of decks, but I would beware the decks that
use this card effectively.
