Hmmmm....... I get to stop all spell damage coming at me next turn and
punch my opponent in the eye for three damage to boot? All for a spell
needing only three lessons to cast, and having no other drawbacks? Wow.
That sounds great! So why is nobody playing this? One word: Jawbind.
That spell requires only one more lesson to cast, does one less damage,
but it stops *all* spells. That gives Jawbind a significant edge over this in
worthiness. This is a decent card, but there's just no sense in playing with
second best, when the top dog is available.

This card is weak in my opinion it might save you a turn of damage but
it just really isn’t in the league of Jawbind Potion which only does
two damage but your opponent can’t play spells period. This card is only
good if you have a limited collection and are getting beat up by spells
and even then you should find some Jawbind Potions or a 4 Privet Drive.

This card is a cheap costing card, it costs no lessons and protects
you from spell damage. Unfortunately it doesn't protect you from
spell denial. Jawbind Potion is a much better option, at 4 power.
However, I think you can use the two in conjunction to form some
lethal anti-spells decks. Potions can cause the most hurt but the
also have some interesting side effects when it comes to gameplay.
Most people choose to go with Quidditch because it can be a little
more deadly, but I really do believe that potions would make a great
compliment color if you decided to work it into your deck.

This be kinda like the "Gaze into the Mirror" of spell cards. It stops damage
from spell cards, but it still lets them play the spell card. Side-effects from
cards like Steelclaw or Dobby's Help arn't considered as "damage" from the card,
so it wouldn't be prevented. I'd recommend sticking with Jawbind for better spell
prevention. It costs 1 more and does 1 less damage, but it's definatly worth it.

Well if you are a fan of Jawbind Potion and want to protect yourself even
more, i say throw these in. But Jawbind is so much better because this way,
they can not play any spells whatsoever. It's like a one action one turn
Through the Arch. I like cards like these due to the popularity of Minerva
McGonagall. She eats adventures and turns them into wasted actions. But
you can play the spells with the same effect for only one action and she can
not eat through them. But like i said, this card will not stop a Steelclaw,
Healing, Incarcifors, Good Night's Sleep, or the like. Is not bad, but
Jawbind is better heh.
