Some people are giving this card a
second look, now that Hagrid's House has appeared. Led by Hermione,
you can usually recover from the forced lesson discard with no loss
in momentum. That being said, I don't like a card who's lesson discard
only gains me a frail creature that deals 3 damage per turn. This
guy is easy to kill, as Toe Biter, Fumos, and Doxy all get him,
in addition to the more commonly seen damage removal spells such
as Stream of Flames and Bewitched Snowballs. The combo with Hagrid's
House requires that you draw that location, and then take the time
to put it out. That doesn't seem to match up well with Baby Dragon,
which is more of a speed card. My suggestion would be to try other
creature options, like Sandstone Gargoyle.

This is an example of a mediocre creature.
It has it's uses (3 damage a turn and only 3 power to play) but
it also has it downfalls (having to discard a COMC lesson and a
pitiful 2 health). It fits well in speed creature decks that only
take a few lessons to go into high gear. 1st turn lay down 2 lessons
2nd turn lay this guy down and you most likely did 3 easy damage
but the might just Toe Biter it or maybe even Rope Bind it. This
creature isn't bad but I would rather play Cunning Fox any day.

This creature card costs 3 you lose
a lesson but you do three damage. Well believe it or not this card
is one of the more powerful smaller creatures. Decks can be built
that their maximum lesson count is 3 or 4. This works well if you
use it with Draco Malfoy and constantly get rid of your opponents
lessons. You use small creatures like Baby Dragon and Sandstone
Gargoyle, and your opponent know what hit them. Of course that deck
is built on the premise that you can keep your opponents lessons
off the board. So good luck with that. Otherwise this Dragon just
isn't as useful as their counter parts.

Ahhhh,, look he knows his mommy! He
is soooo cute! "Zap" Ouch! Yep, looks aren't everything.
I love this card, but since the newer sets came out with some other
low cost creatures, the cost of a lesson is not worth it on a one-health
creature. There are too many denial cards to be messing around with
this little spark thrower. I'd keep me beard trimmed back just in
case the little bugger he coughs though! ;o)

This used to be one of my favorite
critter cards. But that was back in the good old days when 3 damage
was a rarity and people weren't so biased against creature decks.
Nowadays, this thing is guaranteed to last for about 2 seconds unless
you got other critters for your opponent to worry about. But do
not count out this little guy. A fast creature deck can be very
effective and this guy sure comes out quick. And with Hagrid's House,
the comc loss is not as big of a deal. Nowadays, i would call the
Baby Dragon a support creature. He's gone down the wrung a bit thanks
to all the sets and stuff, but he is still a viable little huffer.

Baby Dragon
what can I say
nice,
but a little overrated. A great base set creature, though easily
taken out. First, you gotta discard a COMC lesson to play it, easy
enough right? Also, the DeT(Damage each Turn) is 3, which is pretty
usual for a creature. One set-back is the Health, which happens
to be 2. Thats sorta low, so watch out. At least the cost
is 3 of COMC, which makes this a good quick in card. So, this is
okay, not anything to talk about, but okay
