Harry Potter TCG Example Game Turn 7 I’m starting to worry, knowing that if I don’t get some direct damage spells soon, I’m done for, since I can’t outdo him with creatures. I draw my card, and…it’s a Boa Constrictor. Boa's Casting Cost is "4,CMC".
Disappointed, I make sure Pojo takes his pitiful lone damage. I play a Care of Magical Creatures Lesson and play my Boa. He draws a card, and smiles as I drop 5 new cards into the discard pile. (1 damage from each of those Ravens, and 3 from that wolf!) He then plays a Hagrid and the Stranger card, which lets him take any creature out of his discard pile and put it into his hand.
He takes a Vicious Wolf from his graveyard (discard pile) and plays it down. I never killed this Wolf during the game, but he was forced to discard it during the game when his deck was attacked by either my Raven or a Direct Damage Spell.
That crushed my hopes; I couldn’t survive 8 damage a turn for more than a couple turns, and even if I managed to kill one of the wolves, it would still leave me with 5 damage a turn. |
