Not much is known about James, but James is Harry's deceased Father, who was killed dueling the evil wizard Voldemort. James was one of the best wizards of his time, a head boy at Hogwarts and a fantastic Quidditch player. He was also a Animagi, he could transform into a Stag, he did this whenever his friend Remus Lupin turned into a Werewolf. He saved Severus Snape's life when James' friend Sirius Black told him he had to go into the Whomping Willow to be able to see what happens to Remus, and that would of been fatal if James hadn't stopped Snape. He married Lily Evans, who was Muggle-born and they had Harry, shortly after he was murdered.
