Pojo's HeroClix "Click of the Day"
Majinxstar |
Floyd Lawton or Deadshot is the super assasin that
can kill a lot of heroclix. With Leap/Climb and EE and RCE he can be
devastating if you are not prepared.
When facing him don't huddle your team together and don't let him get a
clear shot of any "one" either.
Most people won't be afraid to push him because he gains Running shot and
still has RCE and a great attack value (9). He is an LE so you can only win
him or trade for him. He's not everyones cup of tea, but he is a terror. If
you get one try him bfore you trade him, you might be suprised by the
results. He has the Suicide Squad TA so you might be able to use that,
though i haven't ever seen or heard of such a thing. All in all a good
secondary attacker for any battle.

Floyd Lawton
Lawton is the LE version of Deadshot. He's really a mediocre figure. The TA
is pretty much a waste outside of a wildcard team. His 8 range really
hinders him and he doesn't have the running shot early on he needs to
compensate. The 10 attack is nothing to laugh at but neither is 67 points.
His weak defense and lack of stealth makes him a sitting duck.
He can't capitalize on the energy explosion he has due to just being able to
target one figure. ERC is nice but positioning him, getting a hit, and
getting him out before someone hits him just isn't going to happen (and
isn't worth your effort to pull off). Compare him to Veteran Ultimates
Hawkeye. Hawkeye has ERC with an extra damage over Lawton and anti-stealth.
He's actually worth the effort to sacrifice or save.
If Lawton's running shot was on the first few clicks and the leap climb was
on the end it might be a different story.
