Today we review Oracle. Once
Barbara Gordon prowled the nights in search of
criminals as the original Batgirl. That was
before Joker shot her, paralyzing her from the
waist down. But she didn't give up. She used her
mind and vast computer skills to become the
ulitmate information source. She became Oracle.
Let's check the click..
Cost~
27 points, 5 clicks of
life, 4 range / 1 target, Batman team ability
Movement~
she's in a wheelchair,
so you shouldn't have expected much. 5, 4, 3, 2,
0
Attack~
pretty decent given that
she isn't an attack piece. 8, 7, 7, 6, 5
Defense~
Not really suprising
that it's low, given her mobility. 13, 12, 11,
10, 8
Damage~
1's straight through,
but a click of leadership, a click of outwit,
and 2 of perplex go with it.
Sculpt~ I haven't pulled
one yet, but judging by the picture, the
wheelchair looks great while barbara herself
looks like she belongs on celebrity deathmatch.
Final Thoughts~ This is
actually a really good support piece for the
cost. Free stealth helps give her protection, as
well as giving you a cheap source for your
wildcard pieces to copy. What truly makes her
shine is the compatability with the "in contact
with oracle" card. It makes an already usable
figure that much better. She should be able to
find a home on most teams given her low cost.
Overall Score~ Sealed Booster: 4
/ 5~her abilities make her valuable,
but you may need the points for an
actual attacker
Tournament Play: 4 / 5~depends
on the strategy you use for her to be a use to
you
Friendly Play: 5 / 5~I think
when I get one, it'll b really fun to play her,
and maybe get a knockout shot with her on their
big brick!
