Hey everyone. Today is a good day for
heroclix because it s the last day of May. Also,
since summer is almost here, the best figure to use
when you re having fun in the sun would be of course
the Human Torch. I also go to an awesome store in my
backyard called The Phoenix. They are currently the
largest hobby and comic and card store in all of
Westchester. I am currently the judge there for
Heroclix and Duelmasters. If your ever there, ask
for me and you can meet me and chat or play against
me even.
Today s review is going to be a good one, so stay
for the ride. It s on the new Johnny Storm from the
upcoming FF set in marvel. Here are here general
stats:
Point cost: 94
Team: Fantastic Four
SSADD: 10/10/16/4
Type: LE
Range: 6
Targets: 2
Health: 7
This review is going to be very short because I m
really tired. I stayed up last night finishing a 10
page paper on a book. Anyway, this version of Johnny
Storm has many pros and cons. First the pros over
the other versions: he has the running shot with 4
base damage. He also has the spike of attack damage
at the last click to represent his supernova attack.
He gains barrier and has poison. Poison is on him
because fire can give off toxic fumes when around
and makes people choke and other things, so I
believe this is what it being represented. As for
his cons on this figure I don t like the fact he isn
t flying. Every single Johnny Storm or Human Torch
should fly, it s who he is. If he s on fire, he
flies, simple and done. The unique version flies but
has less attack power and keeps poison longer. This
version gives up those extra clicks of poison for
energy explosion and then one click of pulse wave. I
can t give him a very good rating because he isn t
flying. He does however, get a large boost because
of the new ability card for the FF team. So if you
use this Johnny Storm be sure to use him with his
sister, Sue Storm or the Invisible woman to get the
19 or even 20 defense, if used with ICWO.
