We close this Collateral Damage's week with Metamorpho, a pretty cool
superhero with pretty nasty looks :P We are looking at his R/E/V here; I'm
going yet again with the Vet. 'cuz the Rookie, at 46 has no TA and is
completely horrible. The Exp. costs 70 points and has the Outsiders TA and a

2 range 1 target. so does the Vet. and he costs 80 points; but his numbers
and powers, and where they're placed, are better. So, here he is:

Stats:

Speed: 9, 8, 8, 7, 7, 7, 6, 6. Starts with a click of Phasing then follows 3

clicks of Plasticiy and then we get another 3 of Phasing. That's it

Attack: 9, 9, 8, 8, 7, 7, 7, 7, 6. Starts with a single click of Smoke Cloud

followed by 2 of Poison and then 3 of Incapacitate, and that's it.

Defense: 17, 17, 16, 15, 15, 14, 14, 13. Toughness on his 2nd and 3rd click,

Super Senses on his 5th and 6th clicks and then Regeneration for his last 2.

Damage: 2, 4, 3, 3, 2, 2, 2, 2. Exploit Weakness for his first click, Shape
Change on his 3rd, 4th and last 2 clicks.

Analysis: Ok, let's see. for his Attack, nothing too especial really:
values are just ok, Smoke Cloud is useless on him, as is his Incapacitate
with only 2 range 1 target!! Poison is fine for a close combat figure, but
it's only there for 2 clicks. His Defense values ain't half bad, but his 8
clicks of life will often appear to be less due to lack of damage reducing
abilities (only 2 clicks of Toughness, and those are on the 2nd and 3rd
clicks, which means that he'll probably hit past those. unless you push,
which would also give you Poison. so maybe it's not a bad idea.) Anyway,
back to his defense: those clicks of SS are ok, as well as his Regeneration.

Too bad that they are only 2, so putting Auto Regeneration wouldn't be the
best (besides it'd make him a bit to pricey). His Damage is ok; he can
provide some hurt to your opponent figs. Shape Change is now actually good,
so that's a plus. Finally his Speed: average values with correct powers to
represent Metamorpho. not much to say, he'll be able to get into and out of
the battle with ease; he'll also be able to tie enemies up. Poison and
Plasticity together are nice. so get close to somebody and next turn push so

you get in those 2 clicks of damage with EW and get Poison and Plasticity.

Conclusion: It's just a pity that he doesn't have Super Senses and Shape
Change together, but with those all over his dial and Regeneration he'll
stick around for a while IF you are having decent rolls. You'll probably
need some good rolls on the attack department too, as a lot of figures have
a 17 defense nowadays, so you'll be needing some 8's. and Speed and Damage
are nothing especial on this guy. His TA is a nice one. Overall I feel he'll

only see play in fun and themed teams, he's definitely not well suited for
competitive play.

300 - 2/5 Do you really want him as your secondary attacker?
400+ - 2.5/5 Awww.. why not?
