Bullseye is a master assassin who can
turn any thrown object into a deadly projectile.
He's Daredevil's bitterest enemy, and until now,
he's been one of the better Heroclix figures ever
made. So how does this remake fare?
Rookie Bullseye
boot speed
34 points
Team: none
Range: 8 x 1
06 06 06 06 05 05
10 09 08 08 07 07
16 15 15 14 14 14
01 01 01 01 01 01
Powers and analysis:
First 2 clicks are Energy Shield/Deflection and
Ranged Combat Expert. Click 3 swaps in Combat
Reflexes while clicks 4 & 5 lose RCE. Final click
bears Willpower.
For very few points you get a powerful ranged
attacker in R Bullseye, complete with a healthy
attack value.
Also gotta love the defense powers that help him
against enemy range. Lack of stealth hurts a bit,
but ya can't have everything. End-Willpower is
always welcome for that medic run. Notably, this
remake appropriately lacks a Team Ability --
Bullseye has never worked with others.
Feats:
TRICK SHOT could make him an even more potent
threat, but at the cost of inflating his price too
highly.
HEIGHTENED REFLEXES is a good fit, helping his
survivability against the move+attackers who will
target him early.
Themes:
Unaffiliated assassins is the theme for all
Bullseyes.
In sum:
An inexpensive point filler that the enemy can't
afford to ignore.
Rating: 3/5
Experienced Bullseye
boot speed
48 points
Team: none
Range: 8 x 1
06 07 07 06 06 06
10 09 09 08 08 07
17 16 15 15 15 14
02 02 01 02 02 01
Powers and analysis:
1st click bears Running Shot and Willpower. 2nd &
3rd drop Running Shot for ESD and RCE; the latter is
gone by click 4. Click 5 regains Running Shot and
adds Combat Reflexes, while the final click adds to
those Psychic Blast.
Starting Running Shot is golden stuff, enabling E
Bullseye to take the immediate offensive. The
tradeoff of a lower defense against shooters is
worth it, since he really doesn't have a bad slot on
his dial.
Feats:
HEIGHTENED REFLEXES is probably the choice feat for
him to maybe keep him alive a bit longer. Anything
else begins to feel like deadweight.
In sum:
Disposable assassin, solid as a 3rd or even a 2nd
attacker in smaller games. Inability to abuse a team
ability is his chief drawback.
Rating: 3/5. Add about a point for sealed games.
Veteran Bullseye
boot speed
65 points
Team: none
Range: 10 x 2
08 06 07 07 06 06 06
11 10 09 09 08 08 07
16 17 16 15 15 15 14
03 02 02 02 02 02 01
Powers and analysis:
1st up is Running Shot and ESD. 2nd click adds
Willpower and RCE. 3rd & 4th clicks regain ESD but
lose Running Shot. Click 5 loses RCE, gains Combat
Reflexes. The final two clicks gain Psychic Blast.
That first click combines the best of the R and E to
give V Bullseye excellent first-strike ability. He
also remains pretty steady across his dial. Again,
one kinda wishes he had Stealth somewhere on there,
but I'm not crying. Double targets gives him some
extra flexibility.
Feats:
HEIGHTENED REFLEXES is again an OK choice on him --
with his range advantage, most enemy shooters will
want to move+attack abilities to most safely attack
him. Making them waste the action is always good.
In sum:
Like the E, but better. At 65 points, he's no longer
disposable but more than good enough to be a 2nd
attacker, easily.
Rating: 4/5. You'll see him in tournaments for
years.

Today's review Bullseye
is from Sinister
Bullseye the man who can turn any object into a weapon. Long
time enemy of Daredevil, he killed Elektra and is just a
plain old fashioned bad guy.
I am once again going to
skip the rest and get to the best…the Veteran
He comes in at 65 points,
has a 10 range and 2 targets, and has 7 clicks of life with
no team
Speed: 8,6,7,7,6,6,6 Running Shot on the first two
Attack: 11,10,9,9,8,8,7 Psychic Blast the last two
Defense: 16,17,16,15,15,15,14 ESD first, then
Willpower, then 2 of ESD, then 3 of Combat Reflexes
Damage: 3,2,2,2,2,2,1 Ranged Combat Expert clicks
2-4
The Good: So much good
10 range and 2 targets
means he can snipe from far away and kill a scrub if the
brick misses
Real high attack,
especially for this set
Move and shoot with
high range and ability to damage anyone sounds good to me
High def from range,
but I would prefer the 17 be on the first slot of ESD
RCE makes him still the
sniper supreme
The Bad: Psy Blast at the end is kind of wasted
because of the low attack and damage
…not too much wrong
with this guy
Feats: ICWO and Protected are always good and
would do him very well. On the willpower click shellhead
isn’t too bad either
Overall: WOW is all that I have to say. He has some
of highest attack values in the set and for the cheapest
price. I did not think that they could possibly make the
old bullseye better, but the proved me wrong. The running
shot is such a good inclusion and the three damage means
using the double target is now a viable option. The def
stays high then entire time and the damage is pretty good as
well. You could always push him to be on the RCE and put
Trick Shot on him, but I would advise against it. He does
not keep RCE long enough for 20 points of trick shot in my
opinion. Still, he is an amazing click that will see a ton
of play.
Constructed/Unrestricted: 4 / 5
Sealed/Draft: 5 / 5
Overall: 4.5 /5
