This time we check out The Unique version of Mary
Marvel, Captain Marvel
(just like Shazam!). Like the Unique (not the LE)
comes at 166 points This
one has no TA though, has the same lack of range,
has 8 clicks of health,
and:
Stats:
Speed: 10, 10, 9, 8, 8, 8, 8, 7. Starts with Charge,
then follows 2 clicks
of HSS, then Charge comes back for 3 more clicks and
the last is empty.
Attack: 10, 10, 9, 9, 9, 8, 8, 7. Super strength
from the 1st till the 5th ,
then follows 3 clicks of Quake.
Defense: 16, 16, 15, 15, 14, 14, 13, 13. Starts with
2 clicks of
Invulnerability, then comes follows 5 clicks of
Toughness and that’s it.
Damage: 4, 3, 3, 3, 3, 2, 2, 2. Opens with Outwit,
then is Exploit Weakness
from the 4th click till the bitter end.
Analysis: Well, continuing with the comparison, she
has Outwit first then
the EE, that I like, and also that she doesn’t have
and activation click.
But also her defense is weaker (how can she have no
Impervious, and so
little Invulnerability…) At least she’s easy to
heal… but beware… Her attack
is just ok… I like better the Quake and SS mixed
like LE Shazam! cuz it’s
more accurate, but I must admit that this way is
much better. But she
doesn’t start with HSS! that hurts her A LOT. Your
going to want to push her
for HSS everytime, yet when you do you go from a 4
damage to a 3 and worse,
lose your Outwit! It’s like she had an activation
click anyway!
Conclusion: I wish I didn’t have to say this, but
there’s absolutely no
reason to play her over Black Adam: he’s cheaper and
does what she does
better. I would like to know what’s with Wizkids and
the Marvel Family… I
just wish they made a good, powerful Captain Marvel
(Shazam!)
