Today we have Aleta, from Supernova. Since I
don’t have the slightest idea of who she is, I’ll just go to
the review: She comes in the form of a R/E/V, I’ll review
the Exp. It costs 75 points, has flight, no Archenemy,
Defenders TA, 10 range 1 target and:
Stats:
Speed: 10, 9, 9, 8, 8, 8, 7. Force Blast on the 2nd, 3rd and
4th clicks, Running Shot the 5th and 6th
Attack: 9, 9, 8, 8, 7, 7, 6. Telekinesis on the 5th and 6th
clicks, Pulse Wave on the last one.
Defense: 17, 17, 16, 15, 15, 14, 13. Barrier from the 1st
till the 4th click, the rest is Energy S/D.
Damage: 3, 2, 2, 1, 1, 2, 2. RCE on the 3rd, 4th and 5th
clicks.
Analysis:
Her Speed pretty much sucks. Force Blast is as useless as
ever. RS is good in any part of the dial, but if you have to
choose, it’s always better to have at the beginning. To be
good mid/late-dial the figure needs to be good there too,
but this girl can’t hit for much by the time RS shows up;
besides her attack is sort of low
Her Attack: values are average for a 75 points figures, I’d
say… no opening power is not good. Telekinesis is best right
on the front, since its main use is to send other figures
into a good position at the start of the match.
Pulse Wave with a 10 range is nice, but probably won’t touch
anyone with a 6 attack value.
Her Defense is good for the points, first it has nice values
with Barrier, then when those values drop she gains Energy
S/D, so she’s never easy to hit.
Her Damage is mediocre: she can hit for 3 most of her dial,
if you don’t use RS when you have it.
Conclusion: Not worth it. For 75 points, go with V
Enchantress instead. I
just don’t see any reasons to play her in any team, as even
in a Defenders
team you have better to choose from.
