Speed: Mind control with one target is a waste, but
for the points it is a nice alternative
Attack: Not bad values, frontloaded tk is always
good, especially for two clicks, 1 target incap sucks,
psychic blast keeps her useful
Defense: ouch, starts at a 16 with no powers, she
will go down fast
Damage: ouch again, that is a lot of 1’s
The Good: Cheap tk
Decent third string
attacker/support piece
X-men team comes in
handy
Pretty consistent
attack values
The Bad: Really no movement powers
Will die fast
Low damage
Mind control and Incap
with 1 target
Feats: She is pure support, don’t bother
Overall: Actually, I like this piece. On paper,
she is nothing special, but Frontloaded tk for 50 points is
really good now-a-days. She is more useful than rookie red
tornado and rookie songbird, and really the only better
TK’er I can think of is LE Clarice Ferguson. When Jean is
done attacking, she still has decent attack stats to be an
annoyance. Her damage will suck, but the incap and Mind
Control could give her one or two chances to be a pain.
X-Men team can help wildcards heal a click, and the psychic
blast could snipe someone for a click. She is by far not
the best piece out there, but she is good for the points and
rather useful. She really shines in games 400 points and
over, but in 300 she is good too. She is my second favorite
tournament legal Telekinesis piece.
Constructed/Unrestricted: 2.5 / 5
Sealed/Draft: N/A / 5
Overall: 2.5 / 5
“Heroclix….they’re cool,
addictive, and available….the things practically sell
themselves.”
