Today's review is Abomination from Avengers
I never really read Hulk comics, but this guy was the boss
in Hulk: Ultimate destruction and that game was awesome, so
I am hoping for some sweetness out of this guy.
He is a rookie, 150 points, 0 range, 8 clicks of life, a
giant, and MoE team
Speed: Low numbered charged is nothing special but it could be worse,
flurry is never bad, and really helps with those low attack
values, plasticity can be useful
Attack: uh…..where are the double digits? The
Charge+Super Strength combo always works, and flurry like I
said is a big help. I never use quake…
Defense: 18’s are popping up more and more lately
but are still a good thing. Full dial damage reduction
keeps him around a little longer though the values drop fast
Damage: a single 4, with some 3’s and a little CCE…yeah…nope
don’t like
The Good: MoE team is coolt o copy
If you get lucky that
first click your doing at least 6 damage
The Bad:
Look at his dial and you will see why he sucks
Only 1 9 attack, defense averages at a 15/16
Daamage is 2 for half the dial
Being a giant isn’t bad, but hes a huge
target
Feats: Just no, but if you must prove something then
shellhead and nanobots work best
Overall: So much for sweetness. This guy blows
plain and simple. For the same points, Vet Namor is about a
billion times better…even being retired I would use him in
constructed over this guy. His attack is just ridiculously
low…I don’t see how he can possibly be worth the 150 points
when they were counting point cost up. It is just a shame.
Don’t play him, plain and simple.
Constructed/Unrestricted: 0.5 / 5
Sealed/Draft: 0 / 5
Overall: 0.5 / 5
“Heroclix….they’re cool, addictive, and available….the things
practically sell themselves.”
