Today's review is Batman &
Robin from Justice League
Hey folks, sorry I’ve been a
little lacking on the reviews lately, but my school schedule
is killing me. My reviews might be a little more sporadic
but I will try to get in as many as I can.
Batman and Robin….nope….never
heard of those guys
It is a Unique (rare), 138
points, 6 range 2 targets, 9 clicks of life, a Duo figure,
and Batman team
Speed: I would have like to see the charge up
front, but I guess it is good for when they are trying to
position themselves near b&R and you can move right in
Attack: Nice and consistent, never really bad, smoke
could is only so useful, incap with 2 targets is nice though
Defense: High from range, but that only really helps
against Ultimates/Superman team pieces since you will
probably be in hindering most of the time. CR when up close
is always cool, willpower is nice, and toughness keeps him
alive a bit at the end…not bad
Damage: Uh oh, the duo rules says you can make 2
separate attacks, but the second time you reduce the damage
by 1. That is not good when you top out at a 3 damage.
Sure, the outwit can make sure the little damage you are
doing will go through, CCE I don’t think works with the duo
attack, and perplex always helps
The Good: Duo Figure
Great attack numbers
Decent defense numbers
2 targets – double
incap
Batman team
Lots of outwit and some
perplex
The Bad: 6 range is limiting
Charge might be useful
when it comes in, or you might be tied up by then
Low damage, low for a
138 points piece, even worse since it’s a duo
Feats: Dissent or thwart work good, protected and
nanobots are standards that help
Overall: Here is a piece in which I have a lot of
likes and dislikes. I love the attack values, the team, the
outwit, and the double target incap. I also like the fact
that he is a duo, but hate the once again low damage, then
thing that made Cap and Bucky unplayable in my mind. Sure,
there is more damage here, and the outwit helps it go
through, but since this guy is your main attacker, he NEEDS
to be a big hitter. This guy is not, and that cripples his
usability. He is not awful, but just not worth the
investment, and would work best in fun games.
Constructed/Unrestricted: 2.5 / 5
Sealed/Draft: 1.5 / 5
Overall: 2 / 5
“Heroclix….they’re cool,
addictive, and available….the things practically sell
themselves.”
