ANALYSIS:
This is young Cassie as a Young Justice noob. And
boy, is her "rookie" ranking an apt one. A peak 8
Attack Value? Poor. Flyer with Combat Reflexes as
her sole defense? Poor. JLA team ability? Poor.
Flurry on the back half of her dial? Poor, since
she's going to miss so often with that putrid 7 or 6
AV. Don't use her for anything other than Young
Justice themes, or if you simply MUST have that
oh-so-vital free JLA move.
FEATS?
OK, there is one bright side to a dial of Combat
Reflexes, and it's that she can use VAULT all the
time. And yeah, she could also use DAMAGE SHIELD or
HEIGHTENED REFLEXES, but she's too pricey as it is.
ETC.
A shame she isn't painted right, with the black
halter instead of the red one.
IN SUM:
Bad as she looks, she's not as awful as some lite
bricks we've seen over the last few sets. Compare
her to Sinister's Rookie Meggan and she positively
looks overpowered. But still...
RATING: ...1.5 of 5 is all babygirl here rates in my
book.
ANALYSIS:
OK, so Rookie Wonder Girl was a bust. The
Experienced?
She gets a decent starting AV and damage reduction
to at least be minimally playable. Some Running Shot
mid-dial will net some extra use out of her,
although her AV slips at this point. A back end full
of good melee powers like Super Strength and Close
Combat Expert and Willpower are nerfed by her AV
slipping even further.
FEATS?
DAMAGE SHIELD works on every click but her first.
IN SUM:
She's not BAD, but she's only good for Titans themes
and then only if you're really short on points and
you need a flying brick.
RATING: 2.5 of 5. She's better than Troia, at least.
ANALYSIS:
The Vet is a huge boost thanks to a 10 AV and
Invulnerability to start. After she Charges with her
Super Strength, she gets a long run of Flurry to
help her finish off whoever she alpha-struck. She
then can shift to Psychic Blast mid-dial with a
decent 6 range.
Her AV slides to 8 only on her latter half, unlike
her cheaper versions. Incap isn't the best power,
but maybe she can make it work. Watch out for a pair
of Battle Fury clicks in the #3 and #6 spots.
FEATS?
DAMAGE SHIELD again works all the way down, and
might be worth wearing since she's a melee fighter.
ETC.
Nice sculpt shift for the vet as the One Year Later
Wonder Girl has a propensity for blue jeans like her
dead boyfriend Conner Kent.
IN SUM:
What's this? The Teen Titans get a decent brick at
last. She's a bit top-heavy, but...
RATING: 3 of 5 is a fair rating, I think...and she
might do better than that for ya.
Cassie Sandsmark is the
second wonder girl. She graduated from young justice into
the titans after the death of Donna Troy. She started a
relationship with Superboy, and was there when he died in
Infinite Crisis. She then joined a cult in 52…and I am not
sure what she is doing now.
The rookie’s opening 8 attack
is awful, and the vet has numbers that are just not good
enough for the points. The best of the three is the
experienced.
She is 87 points, 6 range 1
target, 7 clicks of life, a flier, no AE, and a Teen Titan
Speed: Charge and Running Shot, not bad…like the
running shot first better but with the powers I guess it
works
Attack: Low, but the combos work
Defense: Average values, CR on a flier never works,
willpower to run away helps
Damage: Stays pretty high the whole time, cant
complain
The Good: Able to do some decent damage whole time
Power combinations work
The Bad:
Nothing is really special about her
Numbers
overall are pretty low
Very easy
to take out
Titans
team is only useful on theme teams
Feats: I wouldn’t use any, no need to drive her
point cost up more
Overall: Well…with a heavy object she can do 5
damage on her first click. Her damage stays high the whole
time, and the movement isn’t bad. The only thing bad is the
attack, which you will need to be lucky to hit with the
whole time. For 87 points, that is not good at all. If you
like the character or are playing a titans/young justice
team, use her. If not, stay away.
Constructed/Unrestricted: 2 / 5
Sealed/Draft: 1.5 / 5
Overall: 2 / 5

addictive, and available….the things practically sell

In this occasion it’s the
turn for Cassie, Wonder Girl. She took that role after Donna
Troy and became an important part of Teen Titans. It’s quite
nice to her make way into this game. It’s not that nice the
fact that none of his version (R/E/V) is good. I’ll be doing
the Veteran; the other 2 aren’t much more than cheaper,
watered down versions of the veteran anyway.
So, she has flight, no Archenemy, Teen Titans TA, 8 clicks
of health and 6 range 1 target:
Stats:
Speed: 8, 10, 9, 8, 8, 8, 7, 7. First 2 clicks have Charge,
the next 4 have Flurry.
Attack: 10, 9, 9, 9, 8, 8, 8, 7. Super Strength for the
first 3 clicks, then it switches to Psychic Blast for 2
clicks, and it turns into Incapacitate till the end.
Defense: 17, 17, 16, 16, 16, 15, 15, 14. First click has
Invulnerability, then follows Toughness for 3 clicks, then 2
clicks of Willpower and the last
2 have Combat Reflexes.
Damage: 3, 3, 3, 3, 2, 2, 2, 2. First 2 clicks have CCE, 3rd
and 6th clicks have Battle Fury.
Analysis:
Her Speed is ok, I guess. Some front loaded Charge will
allow her (with the help of a TKer, of course) to run up to
an enemy and land the first blow, which is very important in
her case. Flurry keeps her dangerous.
Her Attack is so-so. I wish she had at least a second 10…
so, not bad, but less than stellar values. Super Strength is
nice to have with Charge.
Psychic Blast is always good, and the fact that she has it
at the same time that Flurry gives you options. Incapacitate
sucks with 1 target.
Her Defense is decent. Ok values and keeps relatively high.
She won’t be healed though. I’m not sure about a second
Invulnerability click, but one or even 2 extra Toughness
clicks would have been good for her. As it is, I kinda feel
it’s not enough. Willpower is nice where it is, though she
has 8 attack value at that time. Combat Reflexes on a flyer
is almost like no powers 50% of the times.
His Damage is not too bad, although that couple of clicks
with Battle Fury might bother you.
Conclusion: I don’t think there’s much left to be said about
her. She’s a
regular brick, pretty much. While there’s not a specific
weakness on her,
there’s neither a specific strength. Go with her if you like
her a lot and
think you can play her effectively, or in Teen Titans teams
(although even
there you have Superboy to compete for her position)
