SPEED --
Nothing's perfect. His numbers look out of
Infinity Challenge.
ATTACK -- Incap is a great
defending power that prevents the opposers from
attacking the figure you're healing. Psychic
Blast with 6 range isn't much of a booster.
DEFENSE -- Willpower and
Support combined made the old Jane Foster LE
worth $40+ on eBay! And we see it here! It's a
shame he doesn't start with Willpower, but I'll
take Super Senses with no regrets.
DAMAGE -- Support is so rare
these days. I wouldn't take it for granted.
FEATS? None!
I'll make this quick. Accomplished Perfect
Physician's only purpose is to be a medic. He's
pricey, but brings more to the table than the
average medic. Outwit, high attack, Incap.. I
say go grab an APP.
STRENGTHS:
Support on both ends of his dial with solid attack
values makes him the game's best medic since Ghost
Widow and E Dr. Mid-Nite. Like the ghostly one, he
also offers a bit more than basic first aid.
Leap/Climb gives him freedom of movement and
Incapacitate, some offensive use. Super Senses with
17 DV is pretty good, especially since he holds it
half his dial. His middle clicks gain Outwit, Quake
and Willpower while his endgame returns to Support
and Psychic Blast to use his Willpower to heal or
hit.
WEAKNESSES:
His Speed is really poor at only 6 and 5. Just 1
damage dial-wide sure won't deal much hurt, either,
and at his cost he needs to be able to fight a
little bit. He's a soft target that can't take much
fire, and his sole keyword doesn't offer much.
CARDS?
He qualifies for POUNCE all dial long, but his pokey
Speed makes it not really worth using. Don't let the
same problem hold you back from using NANOBOTS --
its lower cost and APP's short dial make it a better
investment. TRIAGE has some small potential, as
might CALL TO ARMS. ARMOR PIERCING helps his low
damage at the beginning and especially middle of his
dial (thanks to Quake), but is mostly wasted at the
end.
Finally, consider LIFE MODEL DECOY to lengthen his
life if you don't plan to heal him.
ETC.
His mouthful of a codename probably sounds a LOT
cooler in Mandarin Chinese. :)
IN SUM:
The real question is: will he make us forget the
earlier great healers of Heroclix: LE Jane Foster, E
Dr. Mid-Note and Ghost Widow? He's not ultra-cheap
like the retired Jane. He lacks the Stealth and
Willpower that makes E Mid-Nite so effective. And
GWidow serves as a Poisoner, Phasing taxi, wildcard
booster and medic in a hard-to-hit 18 DV package. By
comparison, APP's mediocre speed and range make his
L/C and Incap less attractive outside of his healing
ability. But as one of the only medics in HeroClix
with a double-digit AV (and that on his top click),
he excels at that job.
RATING: 3 of 5. Support is never bad, especially
with other useful abilities. But his utility will
still be somewhat limited.
