Welcome back everyone! Hope you enjoyed the Countdown. I
have an announcement: I'm proud to say last month was my one
year anniversary as a Pojo Reviewer! And what better way to
begin another year than taking a look at the new Wolverine.

SPEED
-- Values remain consistent for the entire dial. A 10 with
Running Shot and 8 Range gives you 13 total range, which
most figures don't exceed. The ending Earthbound will
probably deliver no effect on your team or Wolverine.
ATTACK
-- Attack spikes are worthless to me. So what if Wolverine
has a chance of nailing someone on click #7; he's about to
die! What if you rolled snake eyes? The only thing attack
spikes do are diminish a figure's capability of retaliating
after receiving a successful opposing attack. A handful of
figures can deal enough damage to shoot him halfway down the
dial, especially figures around Wolverine's point value.
Steal Energy helps recovery, and you could say the higher
attack numbers are needed here. I'd prefer Regeneration
though.
DEFENSE
-- Defense starts out so nicely to only plunge into a ravine
of lost hope. By deathrow, Wolverine loses damage reducers
AND reliable stats. A 14 defense is not a reliable stat.
DAMAGE
-- Yes! Exploit Weakness! Yes! 3 damage!! But wait.. oh
right, Running Shot. He's just not equipped to fight close
combat at this point in his dial. The EW may come in handy
to fend off close combat foes, but who would waste 150
points on a glorified reinforcement?
SCULPT
-- The only highlight of the dial. Sad but true.
FEATS?
Just don't bother. Please.
Was I too hard on this guy? After reviewing ten awesome
figures, the best thing to do was sink our teeth into an
overrated, overcosted Super-Rare. Because that's basically
what he is. He gets 1 point for representing Power Cosmic
and that's all. Slash off 50 points and I'll reconsider,
otherwise keep Wolverine in the "Collection Only" box.
