~ The Countdown of 2007 continues! Here's a breakdown of the set-up:
- Each reviewer picked his opinionated Top Ten HeroClix of 2007.
- 1st Place on his list would receive ten points. 2nd would receive
nine, and so forth until reaching 10th place with one point.
- Once all the lists were compiled, each figure's total points from
all the reviewers was calculated.
And here we are. The Top Ten HeroClix of 2007! ~

#8 is MISTER MIRACLE,
a character I reviewed last year in May. I scored
the REV at 4.5, 4 and 3.5, respectively. Those
reviews still stand (go ahead, read 'em...I'll wait!
but I'd change both the Rookie's and the Vet's
scores to 4. The R's AV hangs just a little bit too
low to warrant the higher score. And despite the
Vet's high cost, his sky-high average DV is a real
game-changer.
I've seen too many games go his way because of
it.
And yes, Mister Miracle would have made my list,
too!

Geez this man is a beast. 8 clicks of
life and almost a full dial of color. 3 clicks of
Incapacitate, flying, 5 clicks of phasing, 6 freakin’
clicks of outwit, and 2 clicks of probability
control – wow!
Lets start with that movement -- he's got tons of
it, and mostly with phasing/teleport. As a flyer,
this makes him an excellent taxi. There's some
Plasticity in the middle, which will be useful since
he is basically a close combat brawler (because of
the lack of range).
But that's okey, because he sports [3] damage for
four clicks and [2] damage for another four. Since
most of those slots have Outwit, this makes him
incredibly dangerous, not to mention the two clicks
of Probabilty Control in the middle.
Moving on the the Attack, his numbers look pretty
good. It never goes below [8], but carries too much
Smoke Cloud for my taste. There is, however, three
nice clicks of Incapaciate in the middle, which
might make him a good candidate for the Stunning
Blow feat. I love Incapacitate, a power which I
often refer to as the "hulk-stopper"!
And lastly, we come to the best part of this figure:
Defense. Mister Miracle starts off with a highly
impressive [19][18][17] with Super Senses -- good
luck trying to hit that! His defense then jumps
again to [19][18][18] with Willpower, making him
very dangerous and hard to hit. And finally it drops
to [17][16] with Regeneration to potentially bring
him back up to his 3rd click -- WOW! He is one tough
cookie to hit, and if you land a good blow he’s even
tougher to keep down.
Conclusion: With a color in nearly every
slot, he is an excellent primary attacker and even
better support piece thanks to flight, ouwit,
probability control, and an extremely tough defense.
Throw in the JLA team ability and you have a very
hard piece to K.O., at a paltry 145 points!
Final Rating: 5 out of 5!

Today's review is
Mister Miracle from Origin
Man, a lot of good
pieces came from Origin didn’t they?
You can check out my
previous review of this master of all escapes here…
Overall:
Basically my feelings on this guy have stayed the
same since we first reviewed him all the way back in
May. I still think he is a great piece, and I may
have jipped him on a point or two before. He turned
out to be a pretty popular piece to play and it is
easy to see why. He is not that hard to find
either, so he makes a great addition to basically
any team. He gets an extra half point form before
for the pure power of his annoyance.
