STRENGTHS:
Queen boasts steady
stats for the first half of her dial, especially in
the Attack slot. Mid-dial, she flips to the
conflicting powers of Enhancement and Combat
Reflexes, forcing players to either use her in melee
(which works fine with her BCF and 0-range Incap) or
taxi her away to aid her sniping allies.
Fortunately, the JSA TA is a good fit for Combat
Reflexes, so long as you keep her DV properly
boosted.
WEAKNESSES:
Starting with Incap
instead of Super Strength is a problem, esp. with
Toughness likely to be insufficient to ensure she'll
land on one of her two clicks of Super Strength. All
that Combat Reflexes makes her a soft target.
Numbers aren't hot, either.
CARDS TO CONSIDER:
CONTINGENCY PLAN isn't
bad, being useable on both ends. But Polly may be
better served with no feats at all.
IN SUM:
The booby prize of the
Origin chases, Queen Hippolyta is pretty lackluster.
Save her for Amazon or Justice Society themes. 2.5
of 5.
