Back in 2007, the first Marvel and DC 60-piece sets
were launched along with several weeks of sealed
tournaments with participation prizes. Judges
running the events were not allowed to get that
prize, though, nor could they compete for the grand
prize. So as a consolation, judges were awarded
limited-edition versions of the participation
prizes.
We looked at Avenger's Judge LEs. Now for their
counterparts in the Justice League set!
ARTHUR CURRY
dolphin symbol
70 points
Team: none
Keywords: Atlantis, Justice League of America, Ruler
Range: 0
DIAL & CARD:
http://www.continuumedia.com/clix_cave/tb2/Unit.cfm?UnitID=jl105&UnitVersion=1&KeyDisplay=1
STRENGTHS:
Charge, Super Strength and Toughness (or
Invulnerability, in water terrain) make Artie here a
solid light brick. Late in his dial he can either
tie up with Plasticity, beat up with Close Combat
Expert (via "Aquatic Rejuvenation") or heal in water
(via same).
WEAKNESSES:
His AV and DV numbers sink too much to be very good
at his end-dial. Absolutely needs water terrain to
be worth his points.
CARDS TO CONSIDER:
The OPENED HYDRANT special object is necessary for
Arthur to work, so always field one. That way, you
can always use SUBMERGED to hide in the water.
IN SUM:
Not bad, but not really better than the normal
Starro-enslaved Aquaman...the Surge boost to speed
is missed. 3 of 5.
