STRENGTHS:
With Running Shot, Telekinesis and 3 damage plus
Perplex, Hal Jordan is a flexible piece capable of
both straight offense and support duty. Push once to
trade Barrier for 17 Energy Shield/Deflection for a
defensive boost. Mid-dial, he's got double-target
Energy Explosion and a bit of damage reduction in
Toughness. Willpower appears at last with the return
of Perplex at the end for a bit of late utility.
WEAKNESSES:
He's a temptingly soft target for the enemy. No
Willpower up front is a problem, as is Barrier on a
piece this pricey.
CARDS TO CONSIDER:
PROTECTED can get him off his Barrier click to his
much harder-to-tag ESD one painlessly. ARMOR
PIERCING, while best for his EE clicks, is useful
with his multi-targets in general.
IN SUM:
Much more costly than the normal Starfish-faced
GL...too much more. Not bad if you have him, but
there are better GL choices out there. 3 of 5.
