Subject: 400 point big hitters team - Tim Brosnan
I just started using this team recently and yes, it is
beatable as all teams are, but this one has won 95% of the
time that I’ve used it.
Unique KC Flash from Legacy – 150 points
Unique Cain Marko from Fantastic Forces – 155 points
Unique Clarice Ferguson From Mutant Mayhem – 44 points
Rip It Up – 20 points (use with Marko)
Armor Piercing – 10 points (use with Flash)
In Contact with Oracle – 20 points (use with Flash and
Marko)
This team build is a total of 399 points.
Depending on your place where you play, if they allow
support you can take out Clarice Ferguson and insert Rookie
Jean Grey from Universe/Infinity Challenge and add in a 14
point medic of your choosing.
Did someone say that this team has no range? That depends on
how you look at it. TK Flash 10 spaces and use his HS Speed
ability for another 15 movement to attack and move again out
of harm’s way.
Keep Clarice Ferguson around Cain Marko so she can move him
around the board to smack opponents with his 4 damage and
using in contact he can increase his damage by 1 and with a
light object (or heavy depending on where you can TK him)
increase his damage by at least 1 more. He will hit for 6
and if you have positioned the Flash correctly, you can use
outwit and stop those figs using Impervious from shrugging
off such a damaging hit. Keep using In Contact With Oracle
on Flash to increase his Defense to 21 making it extremely
hard to hit him. Use his Hypersonic Speed to bounce him in
and out of the fight using his armor piercing power to help
take down certain Kryptonians who may be facing off with
Cain Marko. Having Cain Marko with Rip It Up is like giving
him a constant +1 perplex to his damage. He can use it to
throw a light object at someone or charge into someone and
just lay a smackdown on them. Keep in mind that Rip It Up
has to be used in conjunction with a move action, but it’s
well worth it since you can almost always have a light
object with you.
Since Clarice Ferguson is a major part of your team,
remember to keep her away from the battle and protected by
your two heavy hitters. KC Flash is great to keep in front
of her because of his KC Team ability which makes it harder
to move a fig close up and also because of his extremely
high defense of natural 20 and with an added boost to 21
using In Contact. Another nice thing about this team is that
Marko can grab a light object each part of his turn and
leave it by Clarice so she can TK it on whomever she wants
giving her a natural 10 range.
