How to properly use Dr. Doom (Clobberin' Time Veteran)

The Clobberin' Time Veteran Dr. Doom is in my opinion easily the best figure in the Clobberin' Time set. At a hefty 198 points, it would seem that this figure would be easy to use, but in fact, it is quite different to an all out art form. Here is how to bring out the potential in Dr. Doom:

 

* Dr. Doom is much more effective with teammates then alone. Don't use him in one-on-one matches or in 200 point games, or he will be defeated rather easily (I learned this the hard way against Thanos and Ultron... ouch.).

 

* He is not a figure to just shoot and attack people, as Bizarro and Superman are. Dr Doom relies on crafty and proper use of superpowers. Use his first 2 clicks of Barrier wisely, trapping enemy figures and creating walls to gain the upper hand. Use his 4 clicks of Energy Explosion to deal damage to a charging force of multiple characters. Also, don't forget his 2 clicks of running shot, giving him the ability to hit targets up to 14 squares away! Later, he gains the ability to add action tokens to enemies, give your team an extra move, and cancel opponents super powers. If used properly, Dr. Doom is one of the best Heroclix made, and can lead your force to easy victory. Good Luck!
