Infernity Wildcat – #PHRA-EN017
You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by sending 1 other “Infernity” monster in your hand to the GY. You can only Special Summon “Infernity Wildcat” once per turn this way. While you have no cards in your hand: You can banish 1 “Infernity” monster from your GY; increase or decrease the Level of this card by 1 until the end of this turn. You can only use this effect of “Infernity Wildcat” once per turn.

Hello Pojo Fans,
Infernity Wildcat is another Tuner for the archetype, but just might be the best one yet.
Special Summon ability tied into depleting your hand, which Infernity are all about. Level manipulation of itself gives it a wider range for Synchro Summons that no other Infernity had. Depending on your situation, higher or lower you can make Wildcat go, and that flexibility is great for an archetype that’s main use for the Extra Deck is Synchro Summoning. You have to send an Infernity monster that isn’t Wildcat, and you have to banish an Infernity monster for the level manipulation. Wildcat fuels its own effect so you don’t waste, but I like the discard cost more than the level manipulation. If an Infernity player got bogged down they were likely going to lose, this helps get stuff out of your hand. They have a few Level 2 Tuner monsters and even a Level 1. Level 4 Tuner to go into a Synchro 8 is likely the best play for Wildcat with Hundred-Eyes Dragon and Infernity Doom Dragon being their best targets.
Great flexibility with levels for a Tuner, but the benefit to get a card out of your hand tied into a Main Deck monster is even better. The only thing holding it back is that it has to be an Infernity monster for both effects. I suppose it would’ve been unfair to be an “Infernity card”.

We move from one Infernity extender to another with Infernity Wildcat.
Infernity Wildcat is another Level 3 DARK Fiend, only this time a Tuner, and it has 1400 ATK and 0 DEF. A better ATK and lower DEF, and again it has the traits to be a Tour Guide target if needed, but you’d probably prefer Conjurer or Fiendish Rhino Warrior. You can Special Summon your Wildcat from hand by sending another Infernity monster from the hand to the graveyard. A free body on field while emptying your hand and setting up your graveyard seems perfect for Infernity on paper. Throw an Archfiend in grave to revive off Necromancer, Mirage, or Launcher while getting Wildcat on board for plays. You just have to have this in your opening hand cause you’re most likely keeping your hand empty the rest of the time, meaning Wildcat can’t use its Special Summon. Either way, a free Tuner is still nice for the Deck. You can only Special Summon it once per turn this way, cause again Infernity need no massive help getting more Special Summons. The second effect is while you have no cards in your hand, standard Infernity stuff, you can banish an Infernity monster from your graveyard to increase or decrease the Level of this card by 1 until the end of the turn. Helpful for making Synchros by getting the specific Level you need, either Hundred Eyes Dragon to copy an Infernity in grave or Infernity Doom Dragon if you want a big Inferntiy on board to use your Infernity Barriers with. The banish also gives you a target to summon off Leviair the Sea Dragon as well, so you’d probably want to banish a Mirage or Archfiend while having no other cards in hand. The Level modulation is a hard once per turn, which is fine I guess, isn’t the most crazy effect to lose out on having be a hard once per turn. Wildcat is a pretty decent card for Infernity, giving them another Tuner to use outside of Beetle or Avenger currently and later Infernity Sage when we get it to replace Beetle. It’s worthwhile, just hope you see it in the opening hand, cause it’s otherwise near useless when you’re trying to keep no cards in hand and this somehow ends up being the only card in hand.

Infernity Wildcat we probably immediately notice benefits from being a Tuner, which is very important in the Theme. Dark/Fiend, Level 3, 1400 attack and 0 defense attached. To further assist this Theme, discarding an Infernity from your Hand to your Grave lets you Special Sunmon it. Dropping a Monster on your Field while happening to thin your Hand is brilliant and essential in the Theme. Removing a Theme Monster from your Grave from play lets you increase or decrease the Level of Wildcat by one. Level manipulation of Tuners is an ongoing Theme, one way or another, in a great deal of Decks anymore. This card, while simple and effective, is only as good as the Extra Deck play you can make at the time. But still useful, without a doubt.
