This card was #5 on my Top 10 list.
I really liked this card from the moment I first saw it, and not just because it reminded me of a favorite plane that should have had more than just one block. It’s good to see a card where drawing extra cards isn’t a gameplan in itself, but rather supports a specific style of play. Knight-Errant of Eos’ ability plays better in practice than it might read, because white is the color most likely to have creatures cheap enough to convoke it out ahead of schedule, and thus also cheap enough to be put into your hand by the trigger. It will often make a difference any time you cast it, which is not something that you used to be able to say about the average aggressive white creature.

This card was not on my Top 10 list.
Knight-Errant of Eos is, in many ways, a very white card in how it plays out. It rewards white going wide, which white is wont to do, and it also lets you set up for future turns. White’s ability to muster up creature tokens means this rarely has to wait to see turn five to come out to play, and being able to chain this into bigger threats on your next turn is excellent value. And while Knight-Errant of Eos is unlikely to be winning contests for “most formidable creature”, if you think of this as a “draw two good cards” attached to a 4/4 body, that’ll do the job well enough in most cases.
