Sultai cards have occasionally dabbled in stealing subthemes – I remember a casual deck from the era of Khans of Tarkir based around generating ridiculous amounts of mana, then using Villainous Wealth to cast the opponent’s entire deck on its side of the table. Kotis honestly has the potential for a similar theme: it might not be as easy to do it in a single shot, but his colors have plenty of ways to make sure he gets through unblocked between them. It’s tempting to reach for the really spectacular cards like Unnatural Growth, though I suspect that a slower deck based on something like proliferate will turn out to be just as good. It’d also be much more demoralizing for the opponent, considering the extra time to think about you using their cards instead of them!

An indestructible creature with no issues swinging at opponents is interesting enough, especially if you connect through and get to start stealing things. Being able to abscond with all sorts of spells is quite massive, though the catch is that you need to do a lot of damage to get the reward. All the same, there are plenty of ways to give Kotis, the Fangkeeper even sharper fangs, and at the worst, it’s an attacker that incentivizes aiming a blocker at it each combat, which isn’t a bad place to be when you’re taking a big swing or two.
