Madolche Queen Tiaramisu – Yu-Gi-Oh! Review

Madolche Queen Tiaramisu has an interesting name and decedent stats. She’s a Rank 4 Earth Fairy-type XYZ Monster with 2200 Atk and 2100 Def. Madolche’s work well off each other, and this one is probably the best because she easy to summon with two Level 4 Madolche Monsters. Whether or not she was properly summoned, you get to detach 1 material once per turn to target 2 graveyard Madolche cards. Shuffle them into the deck and shuffle two cards your opponent controls back into the deck. Non-targeting removal is the best and if you summon multiple Tiaramisu, you can shuffle multiple cards from their field. Madolche Queen Tiaramisu is an excellent boss monster with only one effect. Since that effect is excellent, she will be a target when she hits the field, but hopefully you get that effect off a few times per duel.

Madolche is one of my favorite archetypes, so I’m glad it gets support in both Savage Strike and Dark Neostorm, so to represent this archetype we will look at one of the best boss monsters for a deck, Madolche Queen Tiaramisu.

Tiaramisu is a Rank 4 EARTH Fairy Xyz with 2200 ATK and 2100 DEF. Nice stats on a Rank 4, EARTH is lovely and Fairy is a good type in Madolche to complement Madolche Ticket. The summoning requirement is 2 Madolche monsters, which is very easy to achieve in Madolche. Once per turn, you can detach a material from this card to target up to 2 Madolche cards in the GY and return them to the deck and after that you can shuffle cards your opponent controls into the deck up to the number of Madolche cards you returned. Non-targeting and non-destruction removal is the best removal, and sending them to the deck is far better than sending to the GY and in some cases banishing. You also get to put your Madolches back into the deck, which is their gimmick, or if you control Madolche Chateau you can instead add the two Madolche cards to your hand. Madolche Queen Tiaramisu is immune to powercreep basically because its form of removal is just phenomenal. If you are playing Madolche, you are playing multiples of Tiaramisu, because another good thing about Tiaramisu is that she can recycle herself.

Art: 4.5/5 The aesthetic of Madolche is very nice, and I think Tiaramisu is icing on the cake to the Madolche aesthetic.

The Madolche women are very beautiful, aren’t’ they?  Madolche Queen Tiaramisu is a Rank 4 XYZ Monster, who is a Fairy, Earth attributed, and requires two Level 4 Madolches to be XYZ Summoned with a reasonable 2200-2100 for attack and defense, respectively.  I feel a Queen might have a little more power behind her than that, but I digress.

Tiaramisu is a simple card but very useful.  Once a turn by detaching an XYZ Material, you can Target up to two Madolche cards in your Graveyard and shuffle them back into your Deck.  I’m always a fan of recycling resources to reuse, but it doesn’t stop there.  Your opponent must then also shuffle cards he/she controls into their Deck up to the number of Madolche cards you returned via this ability.

This effect isn’t a Targeting effect, and it’s bounce as opposed to destroy, so that only adds to the power of our cute friend here.  I did knock on the 2200 attack, but it’s still decent enough, and she provides enough energy to speed your plays along, which fits the theme, and to disrupt some of those your opponent is playing as well, making her dangerous.

Art:  5/5  Just gorgeous.  The food we’ve associated with the theme forever, the throne is nice, as is the dress and scepter.  The floating candy and food around is neat too.
