Pojo's Magic The Gathering
Card of the Day

This
is a very interesting card. It allows you to
deal with anything that is not a land, but at a
steep price. It's uses are incredibly
varied. Shuffling in something that's gonna
die to draw two more. Clear out a path for
your creatures to win. Get rid of an
annoying enchantment. I see this card being
used in t1 Necro to eliminate a Necro once it's
usefulness has expired. I
think you'll find this card has it's uses in
constructed, but still will see little play.
It's one of those super useful cards where the
drawback makes it iffy, and the result might not warrant
it. I could be wrong. I
played this card in my sealed this past weekend
and I think it's gas in limited. It will
deal with their bomb, and there are LOTS of bombs
in the environment. You will definitely need
this card if you can play it.

I think this could be a very useful niche card in
constructed, specifically in a deck with
Mobilization. Early, you can use it to stop a
creature rush. Later, you can use it on one of
your soldier tokens to draw 2 cards. I realize
they get the cards if you shuffle one of their
permanents in, but the tempo advantage you gain by
using it may be well worth it. Time will tell, but
I think it might see some play.
In limited, however, this is amazing. A Lord
getting you down? Make them draw it again. Come
down to a decking war? Again, use it on one of
their permanents, and they'll draw an extra card.
Combat damage got one of your creatures in death's
crosshairs? Shuffle it in, and draw 2 to replace
it. This will prove to be worth its weight in
gold.

A very interesting card for white especially
white weenie style decks. I see this card as
something like a bounce for big threats on the
defense or a way to get extra cards by returning
a permanent you control. But the best use would
be to cast it on something you own with a comes
into play ability... then it is pure gaasss! I
won't try to name all the ways you could abuse
this card there are just too darn many. A bomb
in any format.

Poor man's vindicate. Yes it is mono white but it
lets
your opponent draw 2 cards! And it doesn't even
permenantly deal with anything, it just puts it
into
your opponent's library. Maybe it's Ok in a white
beatdown deck but I still don't like it. A 2.5 in
constructed.
My comments are the same in limited - except
losing
card advantage like this would have a much more
devastating effect than in constructed. A 2 in
limited.
