An excellent sideboard card in creature decks.
If you're running white and creatures, this card
can do amazing things. Not great against decks
that play heavy removal or control, hence it's
place in the sideboard. But against other creature
decks with no or little removal, it's game.
Blue/Green, probably the most widely played deck
at the moment, just cries if Worship hits
the board, as usually cannot deal with it.
In limited, enchantment removal is hard to come
by, so Worship is a top pick. Just slap that puppy
on the board and start beating on your opponent.

Worship
A great card to help
creature based decks out against burn. If you
have a creature when you take damage, even if
the creature is destroyed at the same time, you
can't go below 1. If I'm playing white, and I'm
playing creatures, I'll likely have one in the
board.
It's even better in
limited, as there is typically very little that
can destroy it, and you always have a lot of
creatures.

Worship is one of those cards
that is just amazing in the right decks. Forcing
the opponent to come up with a Disenchant or
remove a number of White creatures is tough. For 4
mana it is priced right as well, not too cheap but
not too expensive either.
Constructed – Many decks have
taken advantage of this card as a way to stall out
games and prevent an early loss. No reason for
that not to continue – 3.95
Limited – Lots of creatures
and little Enchantment Removal, hmmm, yeah this is
an awesome pick – 5.00 |

Worship
A super good/annoying card that became crazy
good with the introduction of Phantoms (Phantom
Centaur, Phantom Nomad, etc..) and any
enchantment that boosts that creatures toughness
making it all but un-killable by damage.
Limited: As long as you have a creature your
opponent can't kill you. Sounds like a first
pick to me.

Worship
Worship is a card that can be potentially
devastating. It can illicit two
responses - a scoop, or a Disenchant. Of late,
though, there have been a
few ways around Worship that have lessened its
effectiveness in the
sideboard.
Life loss has become more prevalent in both
Odyssey and Onslaught Block.
Effective creature destruction has increased with
Smother, Innocent Blood,
and Chainer's Edict looming in decks, it makes it
harder to keep creatures
around for Worship.
With Disenchant and Naturalize, as well as other
ways to remove
enchantments, Worship isn't a for sure game
winner. You still play it in
your sideboard, though, because it is very common
that it will shut down a
creature deck.
In limited, it is very dependable. It hits play,
and can shut down an
opponents offense until they can either handle
your creatures, or handle the
enchantment itself. In limited, it's a for sure
card, and more than likely,
in my opinion, a first pick if you are playing
white.
Constructed - 3.0/5.0 (Diminished effectiveness
doesn't make it a bad card.)
Limited - 4.5/5.0 (A good card in general.) |
