The latest in a line
of Necropotence variants, it keys in on the
number of Zombies you have. It is very
dangerous, as you can quickly run out of life
unless you leave yourself a way to get rid of
this. It will help you push yourself over the
top.
In limited, it is
less likely of a play, both due to your smaller
deck size and the less likelyhood of getting rid
of it before you die. I might play it though,
depending on what I had.

Graveborn Muse
This is probably my third favorite Muse. I like
the Seedborn because its
just so goood, and the Dreamborn Muse since I
really love the picture. Yeah
yeah, I'll put cards in decks I build just because
the picture is
incredible. Anyway, back to the Graveborn Muse.
This is just a super card.
Newer players (or even experienced player)
sometimes dont understand how
important card advantage is. When magic was new,
drawing 3 cards only cost 1
mana (Ancestral Recall), now drawing 2 cards costs
4 mana (Insperation).
Card advantage wins games, and that is what this
muse gives you.
I"ve also seen it used along side Words of Worship
or Words of War. These
enchantments let you choose if you want to draw
the cards, or pay some mana
to gain 5 life or deal 2 damage to a creature or
player. Obviously, these
are powerful combos, gaining you a lot life, or
dealing a large amount of
damage.

Graveborn Muse
Drawing cards is good, and a Hill giant
attachment. This is, in my eyes,
generally a more positive thing... black can get
rid of its own creatures
more readily than it could get rid of its
enchantments. I think he's got a
lot of untapped potential... especially since you
can just shove him in a
deck without zombies and he's still ok, and can be
recursed with the grotto.

Graveborn Muse
Its Phyrexian Arena on a 3/3 stick. She can
even draw you more for your money depending on how
many zombies you have in play. I think she'll see
much more play once OTJ rotates out.
In Limited shes a solid pick, as a 3/3 body
for 2BB, and the card advantage is awesome. Just
make sure you don't put yourself too low in a
creature stalemate- although its hard to stay in a
stalemate with that much card advantage.
Definetely a powerhouse in limited.
